Bad experience at this place, only one bartender and was packed. I understand there may be a shortage of help but it was a very long wait to even get our pizzas in the oven due to trying to serve everybody in the bar. We paid for appetizers since our pizzas were not in the oven and left after a guy was retching at the bar leaving us with no appetite!

Came here for a poker run last year and loved the panini so brought a group in for lunch and beers. Service last time was slow but bartenders were nice. This time the bartender was so rude that we left before eating. She treated us like total garbage and there was only 1 other table in there. Guess she doesn’t like making money. I was so shocked at how she treated us that I walked across the street to let the owner know and he didn’t really seem to care much. Just bought a house up here and we will not be back. There are so many other places with good food that do not treat their customers like a burden

We stopped here for a burger and a beer and it was not busy, literally 5 or 6 other people in the bar and it took the bartender/cook over an hour and 45 minutes to get our burgers. Rather than use all the griddle space the bartender/cook cooked four burgers for the order ahead of us (probably could have had a dozen burgers on the griddle), then let the griddle sit empty for 20 minutes with four other people in the bar (she maybe poured a few drinks in that time) so not many drinks to be served; she couldn’t multitask for anything and chatting with friends was taking priority. One of the worst experiences we’ve had for service. I used to be a bartender so I am understanding if it is busy and other things going on, but she wasted two and a half hours of our time when we were here to do some riding. Don’t waste your time.

Cozy interior – soft lighting, brick walls. Cute little liquor store attached to it. On New Year’s Eve afternoon, the bar was crowded with locals watching a Wolverines game. Some were friendly, others shy. The bartender recommended a blackberry brandy shot (but only drink Leroux, she said) and it warmed our insides before heading back out into the snow.

Everything you need from excellent service to welcoming decor and tasty food. Thoughtful folks. Would make the drive from Minnesota just to feel like I’m home again. My Wisconsin heart beats proud for this bar. We’ll be back.

Our waiter was outstanding and the food is to die for. During the summer their patio is very nice to sit out on even when it’s hot. Definitely one of the best places in town for food.
