Traveled far to try this place and it didn’t disappoint! Food was on point. Atmosphere was lovely especially as a lover of HipHop. Got to meet Maurice and chop it up with him. Little did we know we had some things in common from Seattle. Food was so good I ate every last drop of it. Now the blueberry lemonade was a bit sweet for me but I know my kids would have drank it up.
There isn’t any parking at the establishment but there is plenty of neighborhood parking. You might need to circle the block a few times! I’ll definitely be back! Long Live Nipsey Hussle!!

Marathon Burger was solid overall. The food wasn’t bad at all, just nothing super standout with the burgers or wings. The smash burgers were a little heavy on the cheese—could’ve used a bit more meat. Fries were better than expected and nicely seasoned. The lemonade was basically Kool-Aid (crack juice ) but still good. Wings were average hot wings. Service was great though—servers were attentive while we waited for our food. The special sauce was actually really good.

I am not lying this is the best burger I have ever had in my life. Marathon Burger did not disappoint. Beautiful and handsome Black staff? Check. Fresh, hot and delicious meal? Double check. I highly suggest the Marathon Burger combo. Listening to my favorite Nipsey songs while enjoying my dinner after having a relaxing afternoon at the Santa Monica pier was the best way to end my day!

Visiting Marathon Burger was everything I expected it to be as Nip fan and I’m glad I had the experience during this trip to LA. I went on a Sunday afternoon and you could feel the vibes from the sidewalk. Neighborhood Nip playing on the speakers and all walks of life – tourists, fans, locals, and more were enjoying themselves and the food.
I had the Marathon burger combo meal with a side of fries and an AP (Arnold Palma) for the drink. The size of the burgers are what you expect from a smash burger establishment except the beef is wagyu. Quality beef and seasoned well! They also offer wings and to my surprise, breakfast options. I’ll have to come back and try the lemon pepper fasho.
Depending on the time of day it can either be really busy or have some low traffic moments. They offer a small, uncovered dining area outdoors at this location as well as about 12 – 14 countertop seats inside. All the staff are pleasant and you can tell they are passionate about playing their role in the customer experience. My only critique was that my pickiness of my burger toppings caused my order to be passed up in the queue and ultimately forgotten until I asked the cashier for an update ~45 mins later after seeing people who ordered after me receiving their meals. India Love was also stopping by to get food during that time so I blame some of it on her as well lol. They were extremely professional and apologetic about the wait and offered me a cup of the blue crack for the oversight. Warning, the blue crack is sweeeeeeet but overall a nice gesture. Overall 9.5/10 experience!! Keep it up Blacc Sam & team.

Everybody is great here, clean store, great vibe with loud Motown music. Bar seating. Fries are skinny!!, flavorful and crispy. Burger was great – not too heavy. The cheese reminded me of nacho cheese. Buns were soft and fluffy. OMG THE STRAWBERRY MILKSHAKE thick and creamy and chunky yummmm. Also the security guard outside was SO nice and friendly. Will def bring ppl here

Visited from AZ. This place did not disappoint! We had the marathon burger, the chicken sandwich and the tiger shrimp. The red and blue lemonade were so good! Milli was so attentive to the customers. They played great music as well. Oh and the pound cake is amazing!

We walked by Marathon Burger on a rainy day in West Hollywood. The line to order moved fast so we sat at the counter. While waiting for our food the owner/manager came by with a couple of orders of French Fries which were amazing! The Chicken sandwich had an amazing combo of house sauce, red chilies and pickles. It was so tasty and hit the spot! This place was hopping with great music and a cool vibe! We did not try the burgers but they looked amazing! Highly recommended!

I got the Marathon combo for $20. The fries are really good, the seasoning is bomb. The lemonade is sweet and really good. I could have had a few of those. The burger was good. Good seasoning and juicy. Wouldn’t say it’s one of the best I’ve had but it’s good. $20 for a combo is more than I think it’s worth. The atmosphere is very loud. They have the music all the way up and it’s so loud that you have to almost put your mouth on the person’s ear to hear. I waited half an hour for my food but I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt because they were crowded. There is seating outside and a counter inside. It’s Hollywood so good luck with parking. I’d visit again if I couldn’t find anyplace else and had extra cash.
