I found this place by accident today. I was working in town and stopped in at the gas station for what I thought would be a regular not-so-great gas station lunch. Then I saw the pita pit sign and wandered over. My mind was blown by the explosion of deliciousness that was presented in front of me. I had the steak fajita pita. Can’t wait to try more. Soooooo good. Service was awesome and the two ladies were also great at helping this newbie figure out what to order. Price was super affordable too. A billion star experience.

Happy to have found this hidden gem! I love Pita Pit! Used to go often in AZ, then most locations closed. Moved to Iowa in 2021 and was happy to have found a location in Coralville. Bummed when I found out it had closed. Found this location and I look forward to going! Staff is friendly and quality of food is great!

Great lunch when you’re on the go. The Greek Suvlaki is great with all the fixins’ just like the menu. Lots of food in the large pita. Very good!

Tried to get dinner since I finely was off in enough time and was turned away because the lady shut down 10 minutes early. I love this place. Just disappointed they shut down early.

It’s alright. I wouldn’t go out of my way to get here. The wrap I had was thin and somehow flavorless. Cashier is friendly, people making the food are not friendly and seem inconvenienced by pur presence.

It’s Pita Pit! This place is clean and the staff are friendly. The food is good and pretty cheap. The size of the regular pitas are perfect for a full meal. The options and combinations are enough to make anyone happy even the picky eaters on my family.

Pitas are made to order and there is a large selection of pitas. May take a few minutes to wait, but the pitas are made fresh so it is worth it. Staff were friendly and made order accurately. This place is a nice alternative in Ottumwa to the normal fast food options like McDonald’s or sandwich shops like Subway.
