I went around 9:15 p.m. to order takeout. I ordered a #3. The cost was decent. When I walked in the woman at the counter was on her phone and didn’t notice me, I had to say hello first. That was fine. I received the food in a timely manner. The rice was just rice hardly any pork and zero vegetables. The chowmein I ordered with soft noodles was not good, the noodles seemed old and some were sticking together. The egg roll was ok but didn’t seem to have any cabbage or vegetables, just something green. The chicken was average but not to bad. I don’t think I’ll be going back anytime soon. Panda express is even better than this. Not recommended

My entire family got food poisoning from eating here. The food was cold= bacteria, there were only remnants of food left and then cross contamination w new food=bacteria. Unclean surfaces= bacteria. No soap in bathroom= bacteria.
I knew better than to eat there but trusted that the restaurant wouldn’t do that to anyone. I nearly died literally. This place needs to be immediately closed. DANGEROUS!!!!

In all the years we’ve lived in Nampa, we had never tried Jade Garden, so we decided it was time. The interior is reminiscent of just about every Chinese restaurant I’ve ever been to. The noise level was fine—plenty of conversation, but not so loud that we couldn’t carry on a normal conversation ourselves.
The food was plentiful, with a good variety of dishes. We tried several items, but nothing really stood out. Overall, the food was subpar. The one reason I would consider going back is that I gauge Chinese food by the flavor of the sweet and sour sauce, and that they nailed.
The server was very attentive and kept our water glasses filled, which we appreciated.

Absolutely loved the atmosphere and aesthetic of the restaurant, staff were quick to assist in anny emdeavor and very polite. My primary grievance is with the buffet, the food quality seemed lacking in areas I think a place like City Buffet does better. Not a huge variety of food compared to other buffets so one may anticipate a higher quality of dishes in terms of taste and texture, but it didnt appear to be so. The sushi bar has no Nigiri and an overall small selection compared to other Asian-oriented buffets. The steamed buns were great and rice cakes were great but were a little cold as the warmer seemed to be disabled. If you go to Golden Corral or City Buffet instead, you may feel more satisfied with the quality of the food, but the atmosphere of Jade Garden is far superior in that it feels warm and more authentic, with art and murals appropriate for the culture, though some colors clash on the interior, such as the dark colors of the dining area and the odd washed out pasgels of the buffet, its hard to describe exactly what could be improved upon with regards to that. Overall, not a restaurant by any means and I think we’ll return at some point, and I suggest you go and see for yourself what you think of it!

I was impressed by the Take-Out service but we won’t be going back because the food was not worthy of more than 1 star. The crab rangoon had been microwaved so it had that chewy rubbery texture, and the teriyaki and almond chicken had more veges than meat. (After we paid extra for more meat) Keep the front desk help but replace the cooks.

I’ve been coming here since I was literally in the womb. My mom used to come here when she was pregnant with me lol. It’s now a frequent date spot for my husband and I nearly 30 years later. We love the food and the staff are so lovely. Definitely give it a chance

This is our go to Chinese food place here in Nampa. We tried the others when we moved out to the area and none are as good as Jade. We get the combo dinners that come with meat, rice, chowmein and egg roll or fried shrimp. Generous portions, they have a soft noodle chowmein that is delicious, fried rice is one of the best I’ve had. Even my semi picky kids really like it.

Decent Chinese food. The egg flower soup has lots of vegetables, which is great. The rice and sweet and sour is also good. The egg roll is way over breaded and greasy though. Decent sized portions for price.
