Nector of the Tupelo
We visited Nector of the Tupelo tonight and it was truly one of the best meals I’ve ever had. I ordered the short rib stroganoff and it was absolutely to die for–served extra warm, the perfect comfort dish for a chilly Cleveland evening.
For dessert, the beignets were a standout, every bit as good as the ones we’ve had in New Orleans. The drinks were equally impressive–highly recommend the pomegranate martini!
A special highlight was getting to chat with Chef James, whose passion and hospitality made the entire experience even more memorable.
We’ll definitely be back soon!

This little gem is one I am happy to have found. Best Pork Chop that I’ve ever tasted and the Steak frites was superb! They have a sangria called Claret Punch that was really refreshing. The atmosphere was cozy and fresh. Service from Katie was perfect! This will be a place I go to often, as I met another diner who said she’s been coming here since July and it’s always consistently great! Do yourself a favor and visit this most charming restaurant. Great Lenten Menu on Fridays, as well.

I absolutely love this restaurant. The food is wonderful. It’s consistent and the drinks are amazing. Everyone working there is very attentive and I feel like you cannot get better value for your money. I go there quite often and that says a lot in an area that has many choices. I’m so impressed !!!! What a gem. Cute and yummy. Great choices. Mushroom Gruyère philo appetizer was insanely satisfying. The cauliflower w capers (asked for no raisins) we got w appetizers. Steak was seasoned to perfection. Fries were allumettes style like in France. Mom had all of her salmon when she’s usually picky with her fish. Service was friendly and so kind. I’ll be back for sure!

First time but won’t be the last. If haven’t been to Nectar of the Tupelo you are missing out. The blackened pork chop was the best porkchop I have had in my life. Thick, juicy and tender. The steak melted in your mouth. Service was impeccable yay Katie! Matt you’ve done good. Sorry you weren’t there when I stopped in but don’t worry I will make it back many many more times. 11/10 recommend. ❤️❤️❤️

Absolutely amazing gem! I finally made it in and I am honestly mad at myself for not trying it sooner. The menu is next level and every detail is executed perfectly. Chef James is absolutely killing it in the kitchen, and you can taste the passion in every dish. The house made craft cocktails are just as impressive and thoughtfully curated. So proud of my friend and what he has created here. If you have not been yet, make a reservation and thank me later.

My first time! The service was great! However, the food was not to my liking. A group of us family went on a Sunday at about 3:30pm which seems like the time they change over from lunch to dinner. Not sure if that was the reason the food wasn’t great. There were about 12 of us. The young lady who waited on us was very sweet. I ordered 2 meals, a salmon dinner which comes with orzo and broccolini and the beef stroganoff. She forgot to order the stroganoff but I didn’t bother to worry about it. The salmon was under cooked and she forgot to ask how I wanted it done. The orzo was horrible. It tasted like it was spoiled!! I believe orzo is not supposed to sit for a long period of time or it will go bad. She took my salmon back, they put it on the grill and it was fine the second time, I guess. The lobster rolls were a disappointment because I was expecting something like an eggroll but the were actually dinner rolls with lobster salad put in them and they were cold. I may go back to give them another try because the service was good and I’ll go a little later if it will help.

I had wanted to try this restaurant for a while and my daughter’s birthday gave me the opportunity. Thoroughly enjoyed my meal and the ambiance. Great outdoor patio that includes an outside bar. Great place for a warm summer night. Dog-friendly too.
