This was the biggest surprise restaurant we have been to in a very long time. Our food was incredible. We’re staying in Portland and may swing back down here for lunch tomorrow. Off the appetizer list, we had the Fisherman’s platter (literally the best fried fish we’ve ever had), chicken tender basket. Both came with delicious fries and both were fantastic. My son had the pulled pork tacos. He gobbled them up. We also had the fishtacos. The same fish that came in the platter was used. The other supporting ingredients were spot on, fresh and next level. We can’t wait to come back!

This is the second year we have dined at Tacos and Tails when we have visited Old orchard Beach. I had the pulled pork taco and it was absolutely delicious. My husband had the fried fish taco and he loved it. It is our favorite place to dine at when we visit. The staff are super friendly and the food is delicious. We will be back again next summer.

Got a variety of tacos and they were delicious tried the pulled pork, shrimp, and lobster. Inventive and flavorful creations. Would definitely come again. Only downside was I wish there were more tacos for the money! but understandable given the location. Our server was very friendly, enjoyable experience.

We tried this place our second night in OOB. I wasn’t too excited by the menu but I tried their lobster tacos and I am SO glad that I did! It was one of the best things I’ve ever tasted. Everyone in my group loved it so much we went back the next day and I tried their signature lobster roll, which was also delicious and full of lobster. I highly recommend those tacos, they were absolutely wonderful. My friends had the pork quesadilla and tacos and chicken wings and they also loved it. Worth every penny. The man at the counter was extremely friendly as well, I’m very glad we came to eat here. 10/10.

We were excited to come enjoy tacos at this beach front restaurant. The host, servers and food runners were all very nice, friendly and on point with every request. All food and drinks were served in 1 time use containers. Lobster tacos were good. We weren’t a big fan of the peppers in the salsa but it wasn’t “bad”. Pulled chicken tacos were tasteful however the shells were very greasy and didn’t sit well. The pulled pork quesadillas arrived all piled on top of each other unfortunately causing the ones below to become extra greasy. Despite this , the pork was seasoned well and probably would’ve been great in tacos/ the Tiki Rita and Tiki Mule were good but not spectacular: All in All it was decent for a tourist stop on the beach.

Me and my fiance just got married literally yesterday up here at OOB. We went to the pier to find some good grub, preferably with lobster. This place (for whatever reason) had next to no line and because we’re impatient we went here. We got the lobster tacos with the red onions and cheddar cheese and all that and the lobster quesadilla.
WHY WAS THE LINE SO SHORT?!
The food is absolutely incredible, the guy running the cooktop is top shelf, both in his skills and personality. We are so happy we decided to try this place. Delicious food, great people. We are absolutely going back before we head home and we look forward to coming back every time we visit OOB.
