Ordered through Door Dash. Everything was well packed. However, I was missing a pita. I ordered extra 3 but received 2.
my husband had the chicken shwarma sandwich. he said it was good. I had the falafel dinner and the rice was OK. I don’t have a complaint about that, but the falafel was very spongy and was lacking flavor. Dry. The pita was not the usual pita I can’t even describe it. It was a little glutenous. It wasn’t your typical pita and I really didn’t care for that. I also ordered extra tahini sauce and that was lacking something. I’m not sure really what it was lacking, but it didn’t have much flavor and I also ordered hummus which came with one pita and the hummus was missing something so I don’t know if it was maybe not enough lemon or garlic, but it was very bland. The baklava was OK. It wasn’t very moist and it just had an OK flavor.
This is just my experience and perhaps you like the flavor more than I but I probably won’t be ordering from this restaurant again.
5/2025- was looking for a falafel place. On Door dash they are now Vegan Vibe Mediterranean. I said I was not going to order from Cairo again. Well I was fooled. Seems like they rebranded to Vegan Vibe. I ordered and wondered why these falafel were so familiar – dry. Now I know why. Samosas were greasy …. Shame.

Seems decent for quick middle eastern food! I’ve only visited once and tried their mixed shawarma bowl which was a mix of chicken and beef.

I don’t know enough about different middle eastern cuisines to know what type of beef shawarmas are different but this type was the longer strips that were tougher.

Sauces were white and a red sauce. The red sauce was not particularly spicy hot but added light flavor.

The restaurant itself has a few seats and the street parking is metered.

We ordered Cairo Falafel through Uber Eats, and overall it was a really great experience! The platters were flavorful and filling, but the absolute standout for me was the grilled veggie pita with fresh hummus. I honestly haven’t had anything like it before — the vegetables were perfectly charred, the pita was soft and warm, and the hummus tied everything together so well. Just thinking about it now has my mouth watering.

The only downside was the falafel. While they had good flavor, the texture was a little too dry, and they didn’t have that “wow” factor I was hoping for. Given the name, I expected them to shine more, but they fell short compared to the other items we tried.

That said, the overall meal was delicious, and I’ll absolutely be ordering again. Cairo Falafel clearly does a lot of things right, and I’m already looking forward to having that veggie pita again soon!

I have been meaning to try this place since it opened because it has a few vegan options. I called in my order so it could be ready when I got there. I walked in and the place was very clean and put together and the guy behind the counter was nice.

I ordered the falafel platter and it was only $8 and the platter had a lot of food. When I got home I dug in and it was probably the best falafel I have ever tried. I enjoyed the meal and I will be back for sure.

My very first visit to Falafel Feast was just WOW!!
the food was crazy delicious, we ordered 2 platters of Chicken kabab, Kofta kabab and chicken fingers with fries to our kids and they all were extremely delicious and even too much to eat it all at once.
About the place, it was neat, simple and clean (especially nowadays with that COVID craziness) with tables for 2 and 4 people.
The atmosphere is very comfortable and evolving especially, when you have a conversation with the owner while he prepares your order. He’s a so nice welcoming egyptian guy who I would definitely love to taste his other plates again.
You would miss a lot of fun and enjoy if you didn’t give that restaurant a try especially that it’s Halal restaurant with so much reasonable price.
Thanks buddy for your special discount as well, that was so impressive.
Wait for all of us very soon to taste the rest of your delicious plates and dessert as well.

The food is super fresh. The Chicken is nice and tender. Little pricy for the platter but you can always end up getting a pita sandwich instead. Honestly tho for food this good its worth it

Not authentic – The picture shows alot of food but the actual portion is so much smaller. Chicken shawarma tastes more like a mexican fajita, NOT a shawarma. The garlic sauce is more of a whipped butter than actual tuom. If I knew all of this I wouldnt have came here. Im sure they have other good stuff on the menu but this was a miss for me.

Definitely not what we expected. I should have walked out when I saw rice being heated in the microwave but we were craving halal food. Meat is not cut from the stick like in the city and lamb looked more like ground beef. The portion of “chopped” dry meat you get for a platter of $11 is ridiculous. The hot sauce wasn’t even Spicy.
