Overall, an okay dining experience. The staff were friendly and provided good service throughout our visit. The food stations were clean and well-maintained, and there was a nice variety of options to choose from. However, the food temperature could definitely be improved, as some items weren’t as warm as expected. The desserts looked amazing but unfortunately tasted better in appearance than in flavor. Overall, a decent experience with room for improvement.

I wish I would have read the reviews before going there today. Over $80 for 2 of us, and it was awful. There was hardly any options, and what options they did have were cold and gross. I have ate other buffets there in Blackhawk, and they are so much better than this one. Plus we have been sick since eating. We were in the bathrooms at every casino we were at, after eating, plus had to stop at gas stations on the way home. I hope we don’t have food poisoning.

Pretty decent spread on the buffet. I think if I had a complaint if works be inefficient seating process. Had to wait in line for almost an hour before getting seated and they only had one person getting people checked in for a table. Went on a Saturday and they had prime rib, steak, snow crab legs amongst other items. Actually wasn’t a bad price for all the options that were available.

I’ve been here a couple times, the staff is great, it has a good atmosphere… The food is absolutely horrible. I went last night to the Thanksgiving buffet, and they didn’t even have any gravy. Which I can forgive, because it would have probably been horrible just like the rest of the food. I am going back tonight, because I got a free buffet. It won’t be a loss since it is free, so if the food is bad, I can keep my diet by eating a light dinner, if the food is good, AMEN!!! If the food is good, I’ll follow up with a comment. If it meets previous expectations I’ll let this review sit unedited.
EDIT: Tonight, the food was actually really good, so they are capable of putting together a decent spread if they apply themselves.

The first set of crab I got was not good as it probably was seating there for a while and it was not easy to take the meat out. The second set was better. Adult Buffet comes with 1 lb crab at $48.99 per person plus tax.
The lady at the front though lied telling us that soda is included and upon seeing the receipt, she charged $4 each for the drink.

The crab itself was great and fresh. Whatever they were trying to pass off as butter was horrible, tasted like salted canola oil. Most of the hot food I tried was bland and 50/50 between eating it or leaving it on the plate. Great salad and dessert options but I didn’t pay $130 for 2 people to have great salad and desserts : (

Went up to eat at the buffet because I remember it being one of the best but things have definitely changed. The hot food looked like it had been sitting out for who knows how long, a lot of the food was bland and lacked any sort of flavor including the crab legs and the deserts looked like they came out of the Costco freezer section. I remember when the food at Ameristar was made with effort and tasted amazing. Now it’s safe to say I won’t be back. Not to mention the price is appalling for the quality of food.

Not sure why my review was taken down! But Friday I paid for 1 buffet for myself came to $58.58, and Sunday the charge was changed to $479! Called Sunday once that charge came through, talked to a Misty who was going to have her boss give me a call on Sunday or Monday! It’s currently Wednesday and haven’t heard anything back yet!

Honestly this buffet was ok overall. We came for brunch and the selection wasn’t huge. I would say it generally wasn’t the highest quality food either. That being said I was a big fan of the crab legs! 1 lb of crab legs is way more than enough per person. It was quite tiresome getting all the meat out, but boy was it delicious once we did! Especially dunked in that hot butter The crab legs were tender and tasted fresh and lightly sweet. I loved them!
Another highlight was the prime rib, I thought it was quite tasty and tender. However, besides those dishes, the rest of the buffet was ok to me.
