Our server William was energetic, friendly, and extremely attentive. Made our visit between flights super smooth and would recommend for the service alone. The All American Breakfast plate was good with nice, crispy home fries and bacon. Pricing is what you’d expect for an airport. My only critique is with the coffee – very light, weirdly bitter, unusual taste. An extra plus: plenty of seating with outlets.

The best spot in IAD if you have some time to kill at the airport. Great food, excellent cocktails, and 20’s jazz lounge atmosphere, Gatsby is a def. Between terminal D and C (quiet part of the airport) greeted by our server “Ahed” with a huge smile and great attitude. Ahed was optimistic and brought a smile to everyone’s vibe. He took the time to run down the menu like a pro. If you like a feel good gin cocktail def recommend “Bee’s Knees”. Gatsby is a win.

DO NOT ORDER THE PRIME RIB. That stuff is clearly precooked and microwaved which means it comes out well done and pale at the same time. It tasted like cheap steak, but at the full price of prime rib. The fries were good. I asked the waitress if the prime rib was good in advance, she said yes. Lies! Never again. If there is a next time I’ll stick with a sandwich.

Decent bar at the airport. 4-5 beers on tap and good Tequila, Whiskey selection. Bartenders were attentive and polite. I sat at the bar and had couple of modelo’s and Tequila shot.

Cute ambiance and aesthetic. The food quality doesn’t match though. Got chips and guacamole, the chips were doused with too much seasoning – see photo. Had to shake off the chips before eating because it was so overpowering. Definitely overstaffed but they do very little – slow service and lacks attentiveness you’d expect in a small space like this.

A little more upscale, typical high airport prices, excellent service and atmosphere. Betsega was my bartender for my 5 hour layover and handled the subtle shift from dead bar to booming with a line to the next gate with aplomb. Food was fresh, hot, and great and the beer was ice cold. 10/10 can’t wait to hit Dulles again for Gatsby

I got a grilled chicken sandwich with garlic fies to go. It was well flavored and the bacon was great but the chicken seemed just a bit dry. Also, $23 is too expensive for what it is.
I liked that the garlic seasoning on the fries was subtle / light as I prefer that than over powering. But if you like your fries extra seasoned, you may want to order them that way.

Decent choice for a airport restaurant; coke feels like adding too much water

Experience of the restaurant was ok. Limited space if you have bags, but we made do with what space we got. Food was average, nothing spectacular. I ordered the prime rib, and it was edible, but nothing life changing. Service was great however.

Food was great, but the constant “are you enjoying your food” can be irritating.
Also, they charge tips before you pay for the actual bill of the food? Tsw
