Genuinely hate this place, there’s always flies. Sometimes they’re in the ketchup but they are always in the bathroom. The food, for the most part, is horrible. Lunch is usually not too bad but breakfast is horrendous and the homestyle food is pretty bad

We love the healthy food options and the cleanliness. The staff is awesome. You can always find what you like and there is plenty to eat And enjoy. And we cannot resist the pizza bar or the dessert. We also enjoy being able to sit outside on the balcony.

Hello Audience. I am a student at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. I’ve eaten breakfast, lunch, and dinner for 3 years here now and I can say with confidence that the dining experience at Charlotte varies wider than the red sea when Moses stabbed the earth with his snake stick. Some days, it’s impossible to get any silverware, or a sweet refreshing beverage that my college-consumer minded person requires. The over population during high eating hours at this establishment make the eating experience similar to that of high traffic rush hour in Philadelphia, fresh off of winning a championship. The food presentstion can sometimes be distasteful to nauseating, and the lines can be as long as Disneyland on a well-sought-after holiday. While I am very understanding of establishments battling with the rowdy task of maintaining a sufficient number of staff members. It is unacceptable that their struggles are as undercommunicated as they are. On the bright side, a common favorite at this establishment is the Buffalo chicken pizza as well as the hamburger pizza. Occasionally for special events, they will increase the staff to over capacity and they will bring in extra chefs. The food presentation during these special events usually creates a warm, welcoming environment that truly capitalizes on the authentic college experience that us as students crave to create for our own. Some of my fondest memories are coming to these special events with my friends and trying all of the new and unique food. So overall, while there are glaring problems that need to be dealt with, this particular establishment gets a little bit too much backlash that does not represent to brilliance and beauty of this school and community.

It’s a dining hall. I have celiac disease so gluten is not an option. Their avoiding gluten labeling and aystems for food allergy avoidance made eating here a joy. Gluten free waffles, burgers protein style, jambalaya, and collards green all gluten free were !spectacular. Thank you

This place is extremely clean and has a lot of options, however, having a lot doesn’t mean it’s good, they almost rarely ever serve lean proteins, the breakfast is the same fatty stuff everyday with lack of variety for egg whites or healthier meats. Oh, and if you come between 3-5 for dinner the only thing you can eat is maybe pizza burger and fries. I say maybe because they’re always under staffed and don’t make enough food.DO NOT GET THE MEAL PLAN

Good choice if you want a burger and fries on campus. Pricey for what it is but very filling. Nothing spectacular, better than the dining halls burgers. Very simple menu, but don’t want for anything more than what is provided. This is also a suitable restaurant for vegans, vegetarians and gluten avoiding persons. The “Veggie” option on the patty choices is an Impossible Burger and is vegan.

I went during the summer (Monday, June 3, 2024, a little after 6PM for dinner). It was extremely slow, not busy, and only a few people there. I asked a woman at the front entry desk if I could be told or shown the daily menu. I was told no. I then asked if I could briefly view the food to see if what was being offered that day fit my diet. I was told no. I was told I have to pay to enter. I paid and was in and out in under 2 minutes. I asked for a refund because the food offered that day wasn’t good for my diet. Again, I was told no. All of this could have been avoided if I was simply allowed to see what was being offered that day.

The staff is really hardworking and friendly, and it’s not too bad compared to other college’s dining halls. I enjoy the food, but it’s really hit-or-miss, and it would be nice if they didn’t always serve burgers and pizza every day. During peak hours, it’s not easy to find seating either.

The ice cream machine is always broken. The sauteed pasta is amazing and the only redeeming part of going to this place. The rest of the food tends to be pretty boring. The omelettes are okay if the line isn’t too long, though the eggs come pre scrambled and in clear bags that they cook on the grill or pan. The regular meals are pretty hit or miss. Sometimes the tables and seats fill up at peak hours.
