This is the best Mexican food I’ve had in North Texas in a long time. I loved the Bistec Mexicana and homemade tortillas. The portions were large, and I had leftovers for a whole meal. The service was phenomenal and very eager to please.

El Olivio in Sherman, TX is hands-down one of the best authentic Mexican restaurants in the area! We’ve eaten here several times, and every visit is better than the last. The carnitas tortas were absolutely amazing—perfectly seasoned and loaded with flavor. My daughter had the beef and bean nachos, and the homemade tortilla chips were honestly the best we’ve ever had!

Delicious authentic Mexican food and generous servings. The Olivo’s Paradilla combo fajitas had an enjoyable combo of meats. I also liked the flavors of the Elotes. very nice people there.

We ordered the Alambres and the Olivo Parrallidas plates and it was fantastic! The food was fresh, had wonderful flavor and the staff was so polite and attentive. The serving size was good also. We will definitely be coming back to visit this establishment.

I sat down . It took over 5 minutes for anyone to see me. Was going to get to go order. Waiter brought out chips & dip. I took 2 bites of the salsa & left. Worst water down bland salsa i ever tasted. So I knew I didnt want to spend my money there

Don’t go here if you want your food messed up! I paid $60 to get tacos and it’s not hard to tell a difference between chicken and beef. I drove far out to get these tacos and when I left and paid they gave us both beef and not pastor. I called the restaurant up and they told me I had to drive back up and bring the tacos to show that they messed up on them…… again it’s not hard to tell the difference between chicken and beef. They told me that the kitchen was suppose to check the tacos before being sent out BUT OBVIOUSLY NOT! Not to mention the beef is TERRIBLE! Don’t go here if you want to have HORRIBLE tacos and pay a crazy amount.

Me and a coworker came by to eat and let me tell you the food was amazing the chips were homemade, the rice was cooked perfectly, the enchiladas were fresh and nice and hot, the service was amazing, warm and welcoming we felt right at home. I will definitely come back for more! Thank you please come on by you won’t regret it! 10/10 would def recommend
