The staff are very helpful and friendly. The food is ample. It is presented like a gourmet type restaurant but without the high prices. They have a condiment bar with quite a few interesting options. The facility is clean and roomy but not super charming, that is the only weak spot. I’ll gladly take great food at great prices with this environment anytime. GO THERE!!

This has to be one of my favorite Mexican spots in Arkansas. I’ve been missing my abuelita’s cooking, and this place comes so close to home. I was thrilled to see they finally added rice..and not just that, but also menudo and pozole. My heart jumped! The portion for the menudo were incredible, and the flavor took me right back They even include pig’s feet. You can order the food and either take it to go or dine in.
I’ve brought so many of my friends here, and we always end up grabbing some gelato and cake afterward (the flan and rice pudding flavors are good, they even made dubai crepes and they r huge). I wonder how their coffee tastes. Please go support this place; it’s full of heart and has so much potential

First time trying Taco El Carbon, will definitely be coming back here!
My daughter is very picky, so it’s hard to find food she actually likes. She ate all of her queso birria tacos, rice and one of my tacos. My husband also loved his food.
Can’t wait to come back.

Tacos el carbon is maybe our new favorite place right now. The atmosphere is great, lots of seating, the have a good salsa bar with a really spicy chili oil, and grilled peppers and onions. Tons of different tacos to choose from and other options. I highly recommend trying at least one bone marrow tacos, its amazing. The shrimp tacos were also great. We also tried their ice cream/popsicle place, which is connected. It was also really good, they have some good fruit flavors and combinations that are unique. Will definitely be back soon.

If you are looking for Authentic Mexican Food close to Little Rock Arkansas. Tacos el Carbon will not disappoint. From the fine cuts of meat they offer to the handmade tortillas and the salsas they have at your disposal. Don’t forget to grab a homemade tres leches cake for dessert. 10/10

Came out looking great, my food was nasty I left the whole plate/plates there I spent $40 and was totally unsatisfied, my food was horrible I eat at a lot of Mexican restaurants being my favorite food I was so disappointed but the place is really nice and very clean though, I doubt if I’ll come back.

This is a gem! I stopped in for a gelato after a meeting g and was taken with the look and selection. They have a bunch of gelato on one side of the building and then great looking food on the other side. We had already eaten but I will be back for a taco.

Plenty of seating, order at front, then pick up when ready. Meals with fountain drink. Clean, fast friendly service. They have sodas from Mexico too! Got to stop and get some gelato too! So many flavors to chose from, great coffee and beautiful cakes! They even make crepes!!!

I love going to little taco truck along the side of the road for authentic Latino food but this place is over the top! The prices are not any more expensive than your taco trucks are, the food is superior, and the atmosphere is wonderful. This is upscale casual dining with authentic Latino cuisine. We experienced great service and really enjoyed our sirloin & picanha tacos.

This place was suuuuper busy. I’m glad I showed up when I did cuz when I left there were at least 20 people in line.
I got the birria tacos plate (with a side of grilled corn) and 2 extra tacos, one suadero and one pastor.
Those 2 extra tacos saved their score from being 2 stars since they both had good flavor and a fair amount of meat. But I had two big problems with the birria tacos. For one thing they weren’t prepared correctly. They basically filled the tortilla with meat and cheese and barely heated it up before serving. The cheese wasn’t even fully melted. They were almost like a fast food taco. Secondly, they don’t include the standard broth that comes with birria tacos to be used for dipping. You have to pay extra ($2.49) for that, which would bring the meal cost up to $15.50. I’ve NEVER had to pay extra for the birria broth at any other restaurant. It’s like ordering a French dip sandwich and paying extra for the au jus.
They do have a station with a bunch of different salsas and sauces to dress up your tacos, along with onions and cilantro.
I do like the variety of taco meats on hand but based on this experience, no further visits are necessary.
