I hate leaving a bad review for a local place but this restaurant is absolute disgusting and pitiful and is very poorly managed. May very possibly be the first time in my life that I didn’t eat or even touch my food my wife took one bite of her Celtic burger. I asked for a refund for the entrees which is a first for me but after the 2 apps we got and the spinach artichoke dip not even being edible with soft not toasted baguettes and the two inedible entrees I was done there was no way I wanted to swap the entrees out to try something else. At first I was denied a refund but after listening to the young manager argue a cuss with another employee for ten minutes in public eye she finally came over to the table and honored a refund. At which point we waited another 10/15 minutes for a check and went over to rubis for some pizza. Hands down the worst restaurant I’ve been to in a very very long time. I really hate saying this but honestly I hope it’s not there long and we can get another descent place to eat in Steubenville. Bennigans the restaurant that was here before this one was always descent.

Such a disappointment. I have ordered the food on DoorDash before and it was decent. This was my first time in the restaurant and I wouldn’t go back. The service was absolutely terrible. We ordered a few drinks and waited over 15 minutes for them. (The place only had 5-6 other tables). I ordered a martini. The guy brings me some kind of hot chocolate drink in a mug. When I say this isn’t my drink, he tells me that it is and argues, even though I point out its not even in a martini glass and it doesnt have the coated rim. He walks away. I had to take it to the bar and get the correct drink.
When our food comes, we never get a check back until we are almost done. Not a single drink refill. The crab cakes were missing the coleslaw and cocktail sauce. When we asked for the coleslaw, we got a ramikin with sour and WARM cabbage. It was beyond disgusting and inedible.
The hot honey chicken sandwich was decent but the presentation of the food was very poor. Everything looked like it was just dumped on a plate in a hurry.

Walking through these doors you are immediately swarmed by the delicious smell of their kitchen, just to then be greeted by a smiling host, my host tonight made me feel so welcomed, she smiled and spoke to me as if we were friends.
The atmosphere is nostalgic, the artwork and decorations make you feel as if you just stepped into a portal leading straight into Ireland itself.
Now the food is a different ball game.
I had the wings with a milkshake, holy cow was that a fantastic combination.
The bartender who took my order was so sweet she gave me great choices to help me decide.
The wings are loaded with sauce, the flavor dances on your tongue.
Milkshakes are so rich and full.
I will definitely come back and to the readers you should come on down !!

It was ok, nothing special. Very nice atmosphere and great service, but the food was average at best. The Poutine fries were good, but not enough gravy. The Guinness stew was somewhat bland, and didn’t live up to its price. Baked cod was decent. The place was empty at 3pm on a Saturday, was kind of a red flag for us

We were seated right away and gave drink, appetizer and dinner order all at once. Took 45 minutes to get some of the drinks and another 15 minutes to get the remaining drinks. Food started coming out about 5 minutes after we finally received ALL the drinks. All the deep fried foods were hot and fresh. The burgers were cold as if they sat the entire time though. We were barely checked on and not kept informed of what was going on with the orders. We asked 3 different times if we could at least get the fountain drinks for the kids and ended up having to go to the bar to get at least water for the kids to drink. People seated all around us had gotten there after us and received their drinks and food before we received ANYTHING. The surrounding tables had different servers than us. We had to ask a different server about getting napkins when our food finally came out because our server was nowhere to be found. Check came out at a total of $179 and at first they only offered $20 off. We asked to speak to the manager to request a little bit more of a discount due to poor service and cold food. She kept mentioning how she herself was going through personal issues, that they were having both front and back end issues, that she wasn’t even supposed to be there and that the server we had is not capable of handling the stress of working Saturdays. The manager ended up stating that she has been beat down by other patrons all night and that she’s just done so she took our check and told us to have a nice night before walking away. We weren’t requesting any specific amount off, just something better than $20 on a $179 total. I feel bad for that manager and server for what seems like lack of training or support but I don’t think we will go back there to try them out again.

I travel all of eastern Ohio and Western PA; I look forward to an evening meal here more than any other town. I’ve never been disappointed. The salmon, hot honey Mac and cheese, and cottage pie are my go to. Mike’s fish n chips are great when I’m in the mood for something more simple. The staff are always fantastic. Love this place.

I walked over and had several beers and an absolutely amazing burger and fries (only complaint, I’m from Marylandand there was no old bay. Luckily I carry in my purse).
This was my favorite traveling dining experience. The bartenders were awesome. Atmosphere awesome with Irish music playing. Not to mention, I got to watch out the windows a live hockey game!!!
Will stay at the hotel next door and visit this place anytime I’m nearby ❤️

The Mac n cheese was like butter noodles. Very disappointing and very small portion and where was the cheese?? The fish was good and fries were good. The coleslaw portion was also pathetic. 3 oz of coleslaw. How is that a side? It was good but it just pmo bc it was so small. I like to ears bite of slaw with bite of fish but a tiny dressing cup of slaw isnt going to last throughout the dinner. Frustrating when they give you super stingy servings of things as cheap as cabbage. If it werent for the portions and the butter noodles passed off for Mac n cheese the food would be 4/5 stars very disappointing when you pay $35 bc you door dashed it

My sister and I had stopped one day for lunch. We both agreed the food was just ok. The prices are pretty steep I feel for what you’re getting. Her salmon was supposed to be served with rice but somehow she got mashed potatoes. The pita bread for the dip was burnt and hard. My fish was just ok certainly nothing to write home about. Service was pretty good but they started to get busy then we were ignored a bit.
