I love the boba tea here! Try the mango mixed with strawberry, it’s the best! The baked good are always fresh and super cheap. My favorite items to buy are the hot dog rolls, sponge cake, the cheese bun and the coconut cream roll. I usually take him a 6/8pk of bread rolls, they are incredibly soft. The only problems I have here for not rating it a 5star is the language barrier issue, sometimes the female owner comes across as rude and they ONLY take cash. Other than that everyone should give this place a try. It’s small and simple but great.

The owner lady is so rude. Every times I asked something she was either yelling or talk annoyed at you.

I’ve been coming here since I was a kid. They used to have a large array of items, including pigs in blankets and egg custard tarts. Lots of fruity cakes on display, and a variety of buns and breads… Nowadays, they seem to moreso have coconut custard bread, BBQ pork buns (char siu bao – I always look it up, but Google claims the only places that sell it are in Philly), cake rolls, cookies, and sweet bread. Bubble tea is good here, too. For first-timers: Go for the things that would generally move quickly, to ensure freshness – I recommend the almond cookies, which are extremely delicate and mildly sweet.
The woman working the counter always says that she doesn’t speak English, but if you treat her kindly and keep that barrier in mind, she’ll be respectful in return. While she was generally happier when I was a child, I think the years of dealing with people have left her worn out. So think of the soup chef from Seinfeld; point at what you want, pay for it, thank her, and move along.

DO NOT BUY GOODS FROM HERE! The lemon roll had mold in it when I cut it and gave it to my family members. Of course, as soon as they see the mold the three that out. Thus, I went to return it, but the owner starting to yelled at me! She wanted me to give her back the entire roll before the refund. She should be ashamed of herself! I will definitely report this to the NJ Health Department

Very rude owner/worker! Just filed a report to pleasantville police station today. Had a very bad experienced with them while i was buying breads ( like more than a dozen ) when my father asked if they have a sanitizer for him to use because his hands are so sticky after helping bagging our groceries from the supermarket to which the owner lady replied just go in the bathroom and wash with water. Sanitizer and actual hand-washing are different. When out of nowhere a guy that works from the inside of bakery came out bad mouthing us, telling us the F words and yelling at us to go away! My dad, mom and my 8yo son were all surprised unto what this guy was mad about, just for a sanitizer seriously and you will embarrassed us in public where people are looking at us? I had an unpleasant exchanged of words with the owner and this worker(who knows it might be her husband), when my mom said just call the cops, which i did! Owner explanation is that to let it go because his worker just doesn’t understand what a sanitizer is, not an enough reason to harassed us and bad mouthing my senior citizens parents in front of my 8yo son. I want these people to get proper education on how to deal with costumers. Complaint file against you!
