THE BEST vegetarian pasta I have had in my life. And that says a lot given I a foodine and (I think) a good cook and who likes to discover new foods a lot. Especially vegetarian options. And they did that on the spot made up based on what I wanted in the pasta and at my server’s suggestion let the chef decide what sauce tomake up with it. And boy that sauce was good! Very sublime lemon based awith a lot of depth and perfect smooth creamy texture. Yet very light not heavy. Getting a sauce to have depth and be light at the same time is very difficult. And the mushrooms. Boy incredible mix of mushrooms ! I believe they are locally grown some may be foraged. Given the focus on this restaurant trying to avoid local fish to preserve the environment and Orcas, especially Salmon, I think they should make this pasta the permanent fixture on menu. And the other vegetables in my pasta were, you can tell, all eventually cooked and then layed out. As anyone trying to cook gourmet food knows not all vegetables cook at the same rate. So if you really want go over the top do them separately and then arrange on your pasta at the end. I do that when I cook but boy the broccoli was impeccable. Crisp and not overcooked yer melts in your mouth will all the flavors and just the right texture. The butternut squash wes creamy not overcooked and just the right amount of texture and has that roast finish in each piece that was perfectly laid out in the sauce. And this is perhaps the first time I was finger licking the sauce from my pasta at rthe end (the portion was perfect) too).!
And the red wine pairing. Oh boy. They have a lot of expensive wine. But I took the 86$ bottle of Cabernet franc Tamarack 2019 from Columbia valley. It was excellent !
Highly recommend that one on a budget that still wants a 5 star wine with the 5 star food.
And all their other disshrea were really good my family told me. And then after eating go for a walk around. And if you happened to be here during sunset I am sure the view is incredible. We came when it was dark. But you can still walk on the pier.

We had dinner here while staying at the resort and it absolutely did not disappoint. Our server, Jodi, was a pleasure and provided us with the most excellent service. Everything we had here was delicious, the calamari really sticks out in mind as well as the fresh oysters. The view is absolutely stunning at sunset, so book your reservation for then if you can. This whole area is so special and charming that I hope it stays frozen in time forever. I will definitely dine here again the next time I am at the resort.

First time on the island – was told this was the spot for dinner -shout out to Taylor who made this experience amazing – from charging my phone, to chatting with me and answering all my silly questions about island living.
Food selection was a little light. I had apps two crab cakes and brussels sprouts. Husband had meatloaf and mashed potatoes. Both meals were very tasty. Meatloaf was very tender!
View was beautiful – plenty of wildlife to watch while enjoying your meal.
Photo is a view from right near the restaurant.

I hadn’t been here in years, so when I came here to celebrate my engagement and birthday, I was hoping it would be just as good as I remember. Happy to report that from start to finish the experience was even better than I could have imagined. Friendly greeting at the door, a table with an incredible view overlooking the harbor, and promptly greeted by our server (gah I can’t remember her name, but she was AMAZING). We had apps (crab bisque, beef empanadas), entrees (filet mignon, lamb chops), cocktails (pear martini, old fashioned), and dessert (cheesecake). Everything we ordered was beautifully plated, nicely cooked, and packed with flavor; Bill Shaw is a master of his craft. We were able to watch the sunset over the harbor (including the Colors ceremony) from our table. Our server even took us out to a deck to take photos of us. The whole experience was 10/10. Cannot recommend this place enough.

The restaurant can be a little tricky to find, sin e it’s tucked into the most charming little Hamlet of Roche Harbor. The service is impeccable and both the cocktails and wine list were awesome. They claim fame for their prime rib though I wouldn’t say it stands “above” other good versions I’ve had. The appetizers were actually the stars of the night for me. The stuffed scallops and shishito peppers blew me away and the blue cheese salad was the best I’ve had. The seafood linguini, while cooked perfectly, lacked seasoning. I’d eat here again, but I’d stick to the small plates, gorge myself, and save a little cash along the way.

Absolutely one of the best meals we’ve ever had. Service, presentation, and flavors galore – calamari was THE best. Oysters, prime rib and scallops. Topped of with cream Brule sampler! Pleasantly stuffed!

Excellent meal! Great friendly greet at the door! We dined with Jose who has been here since 2017. He was friendly, affabile, entertaining, knowledge and efficient.
We were there close to sunset and the staff was acrively managing the shades to give all the guests the best possibile view. Very nice effort!
I can definitely see how this place is a perennial crowd favorite. There is agreat feel to the room. The staff was warm and management was omni-present.
The food was good with the chef seemingly to source local and/or organic when possible.
First time having “grilled” prime rib. Advertised as the “best of both worlds”, it was a very nice and pleasant surprise on an old favorite.
This was avery nice resturant overall which would be appropriate for celebrating or for a refined meal on the water.

We sat in the bar area and had a table next to the window. The view was incredible!
We had drinks, appetizers, and dinner entrees that were absolutely incredible. We got the soup and fried beef empanadas for an appetizer. We had the prime rib and park cheese crusted whitefish. They were really good! The whitefish breading was a little too thick for my liking.

Favorite spot on the island. Love the nuts on the salad and be sure to try the lamb lasagna. You can smell the history of the building, dining room and overall area all while watching boater’s boat. Saw a helicopter land on a yacht from the bar years back, haha.
