We are done with this location. The one in North Charleston has good customer service and food.
We have given these guys more than enough chances to work this out but they continue to disappoint.
We paid $13.09 for what was supposed to be a large Mac and cheese. Please see picture. There is about an inch in that cup. WHEN this place closes it will be for poor management. Ordered a bowl of chicken noodle soup for my sick girlfriend and after driving 20 minutes back to her we discovered the bowl contained no chicken or noodles. Just broth. Well done!

I placed my order online for pick up and when I got there my order was not ready, they informed me that they ran out of asiago bagels and offered to make us any other sandwich however other employee told us they are making more asiago bagels and if we didnt mind waiting theyll make my og order so we agreed. She gave us complementary drinks as well and when they were finally ready they were pretty tasty. At one of the charlestone locations when I tried to get this same asiago they just told us it was out and didnt care much, just told us to order something else.

Last went to Panera 3 months ago, looks like it will be at least that long again. Today I asked for sliced cucumber with a bagel and cream cheese—and added $5-6 to the order? “With our new system we can’t charge items a lá carte” so they had to charge for a sandwich? After 5+ mins for staff to research and return with an $11 charge I left. The best I can say is the space was clean and the polite cashier tried to fulfill my request; additional staff were unhelpful.

Tried this place again after being disappointed previously. Disappointed again. Previously tried to order bread and they told me they were out of bread. It was during lunch time. Which is confusing since its in their name. It took forever and they kept messing up everyone’s order.
This time I tried their soup which they said feeds 4 people. It was less than what I get from 1 ladels order for triple the price. Soup was mainly broth as well.
Avoid at all costs.

Ordered two meals from the drive thru. Had the employees verify the order. Asked again if both my meals had been put in my bag. Employee verified they were. Got home and one meal had not been included. When I called the store explaining I was missing half my order, I was told they were now closed and to come back tomorrow so they could remake my order. The attitude of Lyndsey the manager was appalling. Not a care in the world that I had just paid for two meals and got one. Customer service stinks! I will get my refund and NEVER go back.

Avoid drive thru at all costs. It’s infuriating that the drive thru is so poorly designed- impossible to get a larger car through without hitting a curb. THEN you have to wait at least 15 mins for your food. TOP it off with your order being wrong. So sad this place has all the cards stacked against them.

Every time I go to this Panera something is wrong. Today they were out of baguettes. Panera BREAD was out of their bread! Last time it was closed at 6 on a weekday for no reason. Just locked with lights off. This place just can’t get it right. Update.. tried again today 1-17-24 and they gave me the burnt scrapings from their turkey chilli to fill my order. How can one place be this bad?
Update again, tried again today 1-19-25 almost a year to the day. Same old terrible experience. This time I ordered 6 Begals with 2 baguettes and 2 cream cheese tubs. I ordered a day in advance and they forgot both cream cheese tubs. How can they be this bad and stay in business?!?!?!

Every time I come here my food is never what I expect it to be for the price I’m paying. I’m not usually one to leave a bad review but this is getting out of hand. Today my French onion soup was missing the cheese so I asked about it and they handed me a bag of cheese to put on myself even though it is supposed to be broiled on top. And my Mac and cheese is ice cold, not even luke warm like if usually is. This is ridiculous. Now I have to go home and reheat my food because the people who work here couldn’t be bothered to make it right the first time. Seriously the Mac and cheese comes in bags all they have to do it heat them up.

It’s hard to believe this store is still open. Today, I waited 15 minutes with my engine off at the drive through window completely ignored. The person taking my order repeated it incorrectly 3x during the process. Finally, when I received my food, I told the drive through person it was hard to believe it took so long and he agreed. That place needs to just close. The food is awful, no one wants to be there – and it shows.
