We were looking for a place to eat when I saw that on the road. Love how obvious it was what they served from the way it’s painted. We were too late for lunch specials and we didn’t see any for Friday anyway. My relative enjoyed her burger very much. She said it was about one of the best you can get anymore. I thought my catfish overall were very decent. Our service was good. I also really liked my beans, but unfortunately left my to-go box behind.

We stopped in for lunch. I had the Porky Pig sandwich with loaded mashed potatoes. The pork was very tender and tasty. The BBQ sauce was spicy and seemed hot sauce based. The loaded mashed potatoes were on point. My husband had the fried catfish sandwich and loaded mashed potatoes. He stated it was delicious. The server and cashier were very nice. I’m glad we stopped in.

I bought a 2 filet dinner from them and EVERY SINGLE filet was pink. They first gave my completed order to another guest, then must have rushed to get my order done so they didn’t have to sit there working past close time. When I order my $15 dinner I expect the main course to at least be cooked.

OMG, if I could give this place 10 stars, I would!!! Staff is awesome, it’s a great country atmosphere and the food is ridiculously awesome. If everyone leaves here hungry then they have a serious problem. Price for all the food you get is great as well.

Delicious meats and sandwiches. The portions are very generous, so you definitely get good bang for buck. I really found the cheeseburger filling. The fries are thick and flavorful & crisp. The pulled pork was great. Some of the meat was dry d.o sauce was needed. BBQ sauce was on point. The fish fillets were delicious. Also very friendly service from Tracey. I recommend it. I’ll be back.

Best catfish filets in the area. Been going here for over 20 years just for the catfish and we still drive over from Longview for it. I can honestly say that every time it’s been great. If you want fried catfish and you’re in the area, stop by and get some. Pro tip, ask for sliced jalapeños to go with the coleslaw and you’ll be in high cotton. Unfortunately I can’t say anything about their other food because the only thing I’ve ever ordered from them is the catfish filets.

Decided to stop in with the family September 4, 2021 for some catfish before the races. The food was great like always, but apparently it’s too much to ask for Tabasco. I asked the waitress for it and she said ok, but never brought it to us.

Ribs were decent the pulled pork potato was good the sausage was not good tasted like the smokiness came from plastic burning very juicy but the flavor wasn’t it at all

Love coming here on satudays. Staff is friendly, everything is clean, and the portions are large. Its cost effective as you have enough for another meal when you are full. Never had any issues with their cooking either. Reminds me of eating at my grandparent house. Always stories being told which makes the place feel like home.
