Edited: Kristy went above beyond to make up for my previous experience. I received a complementary pizza (chicken bacon ranch) the quality and flavor were just out of this world. Easily one of the best pizzas I’ve enjoyed in a very long time. It genuinely exceeded all my expectations.
This whole experience has completely flipped my perception. Not only has it fully restored my confidence in Black Hawk Pizza, but you’ve also absolutely won me over as a loyal customer! I’m already looking forward to my next trip to Black Hawk so I can swing by again.

I called in a delivery order and was on hold for 30 minutes. Once they finally answered, I placed the order and was told it would be delivered to me in 45 minutes to an hour. Over an hour passes by so I call and was told “your pizza is ready but I forgot to get your address, I am so sorry. We thought you would call back “ why is it my responsibility to call back if I gave them my phone number? They could’ve called me back immediately if they forgot to write down the address that I DID GIVE THEM. I am extremely disappointed with the service I received.

There is literally zero competition in town when it comes to wanting excellent quality pizza. Black Hawk Pizza is by far the best in town in my opinion.
Pictures doesn’t do it justice. I ordered a large pizzas, 2 cheese, 1 BBQ Chicken, 1 Hawaiian, 1 Chicken Bacon Ranch… and they quoted me 20 minutes… I don’t know what sort of wizardy they have working in that kitchen, but it’s obviously a recipe/spell for success.
The donuts are also pretty killer.
Service is top notch, conversation is wholesome, and the pies are delicious.

Beautiful sunny afternoon having fantastic pizza from Black Hawk Pizza. New owners since August with really good, fresh ingredients, thin crust pizza. The green chili slices on my pepperoni mushroom were flavorful with just a little kick. New monthly special is Alfredo. As a CT yankee I compared it favorably to Sally’s Apizza.
Owners and crew came out to pet the dogs and enjoy the westerly sun setting. It’ll be a great spot all winter long. Lawn games too.
If that didn’t cinch it, there is also rec weed, liquor store and a motel in the little complex.

Very friendly and inviting! Pizza was hot and fresh …snagged some super soft cookies, as well! The price was great. Loved the fact that the pizza was thin on the bottom and the crust was thick enough to satisfy both of our favorites.

Best pizza I’ve had in a very long time!! The cheese veggies and the dough was just so perfect. It practically melted in the mouth. The hosts are so welcoming and they make the whole atmosphere so homely.

Group of friends and I decided to make a stop right before hitting up the casinos and we got lucky with both food and winning that night! 12 of us walked in and they helped push tables together for us to all sit. Pizza was delicious and atmosphere was very homey with games and activities to do while we waited. Right as we were finishing the employees walked out with a cinnamon pizza on the house for us to all share which we were so grateful for and tasted AMAZING. If we are ever back in town we will definitely make another stop! #texasgroup

Came into the area to spend a few days decompressing after a whirlwind weekend, and wanted something light, filling, and local. Black Hawk Pizza hit just the spot. Everyone was super lovely and always checked in to make sure there wasn’t something we were missing. There’s a cool little game machine in the corner that’s free to play and board games in the opposite corner. The food was also really delicious!! We got the Chicken Bacon Ranch pizza and Garlic Cheese Bread with both ranch and spicy ranch. The spicy ranch was more on the spicy side but still really good! Also makes really good oven leftovers the next morning. Will definitely stop here again the next time we’re in the area.

What a delightful pie; it looked just a little like Christmas. The toppings were farm-to-table fresh, or tasted like it. I had the gluten-free crust, and it was light, buttery, and crisp. A locally-owned gem started by lovely people, this place has an almost 1950s-neighborly like charm to it. Staff will go the extra mile, literally and figuratively; they’re one of the only delivery options in Black Hawk/Central City, and their delivery radius is impressive. I also love their quirky grassroots marketing, which includes a whimsical dinosaur mascot. The kind of business that deserves to endure and become nostalgic. Kudos/bella.
