Every so often a former co-worker and I have lunch on a Saturday. Our go to place is Moes. Everyone is very friendly. Today one lady was very kind. I ordered the smoked chicken sandwich but was given the pork sandwich by mistake. Because we were talking about the delicious slaw, she went and got me the correct sandwich and didn’t charge me for it. I also said I wanted to try the peanut butter cake, (she made it) to say it was delicious is an understatement! She also did not charge me for it either. If you want a clean, nice atmosphere and delicious food go to Moes!

This is a very casual barbecue place where you order at the counter and then they bring it to you or you can eat at the bar. The menu is limited, but what I had was very good. The only thing that I could say was, I agree with the others that reviewed that said the food was not that hot (temperature) I ate my whole plate though. I had the pulled pork plate with collard greens and rice and beans. It came with a piece of cornbread with jalapeños that was like a cake. I had a Modelo on draft. I would come back. I loved the area of town and the place. It was very quaint.

Dropped in for lunch not what to expect. WOW! I had the wing platter with the sweet potatoes Jojo and the casserole. The flavor on the dry rub wings was amazing. No need for sauce but even the sauce was fantastic. These are not little wings. These things have meat! I highly recommend this place. Out damn standing food and service.

Dear Moe’s Original BBQ Team, I recently dined at your Peachtree Parkway location and was thoroughly impressed by the exceptional service from Victor. We shared a rack of ribs among four, accompanied by cornbread, macaroni and cheese, and collard greens, and the ribs were so flavorful and tender that I enjoyed them without sauce, despite the sauce’s fantastic taste, while the collard greens were rich and tender, the macaroni and cheese well-balanced, and the jalapeño-infused cornbread excellent I enjoyed the ribs for the first time several months ago prompting me to bring my family back and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the meal, reaffirming the consistent quality of your offerings, for which we are grateful and look forward to returning soon. We had such high hopes for this place. It’s a cute little BBQ joint but the food was a real let down. We ordered the redneck nachos, pulled pork sandwhich with sides of Mac n cheese and baked beans. I’ll start off with the nachos. They were ice cold, even the pulled pork which you think would be warm. The pulled pork sandwich was average and we sauced it ourselves because it had very little sauce. The Mac n cheese was completely tasteless and cold. The best menu item we had were the baked beans. Overall, our experience was sub par. Something important to mention is that we came at 7:15pm on a Saturday so maybe we just came a little too late? Maybe it’s a good lunch place but we won’t be back to find out.

Our first time and the food was great, but the service was even better. The young lady behind the counter was so pleasant and very helpful. A nice selection of barbeque offerings and decent portions. The smoked wings were flavorful, the Mac ‘n cheese was delicious, the beans complemented the flavor of the meat and the corn bread was a nice touch. We will be back.

Moe’s (“Welcome to Moe’s!”… yes, that one) has created another hit with Moe’s Original BBQ. I had the KC-style Burnt Ends because they were available and they did not fail to deliver! Also had the pork chili which was a little spicy but that’s exactly how I like it. Both were stellar. I was also able to try their wings and, mannnnn, those were great too.
Thomas, my bartender was on top of it all and made great recommendations. Good-sized full bar. Not a ton of beers to choose from but that’s ok because all I needed was something to go with the excellent BBQ. I will definitely be back.
I didn’t take any photos of food because it went away so fast. Maybe next time.

Me and the wifey return for a Norcross Band benefit. She gets the pork sandwich and I get the ribs. Uhhh-muhhh-gerrr… that stuff sizzles baby. I added some photos of my ribs and Brunswick stew combo with a nice slice of garlic bread. Suh-wheet!

I had the dry rub wings, courtesy of Moe’s. The wings and food was made to order. The wings were healthy, Krispy, and tasty. The baked beans are delicious. I’m not sure what the dipping sauce was, but it was delicious. Good sized portions.

Honestly, pretty legit. Ribs were tender and fell off the bone. Mac and cheese wasn’t cheesy enough, but the beans were good. Banana pudding was tasty. Glad I could make it in today before they closed. Looks like a steady flow of take out orders for dinner. Cornbread is toasted / seared in butter and delish.
