This Cold Stone sucks! During my visit Sunday 4:30 pm. They didn’t have strawberries, no pineapple, no nuts at all. When my wife and children wanted to use the restroom. We were told and there was a sign saying that it was for employees only. Horrible experience including customer service from the lady that did my order. Go to another location.

I’ve never had issues with this location until today. I had placed an order for pick up. I arrived at the Junipero Blvd. location a little after 12, and noticed they had not opened yet. I waited 20 minutes and still didn’t open. Business hours say it opens at 12pm. 3 other potential customers were waiting outside. We finally got the attention from one of the workers. She opened the door and asked if we were there for ice cream or pick up. She explained that the ice cream wasn’t ready, that it was too frozen, and that would be another 20 minutes before they open. Mind you, it was around 12:30 already. I said I was there for pick up. She let me in and went to the back to get my order. She came back out and was putting my order in a bag. I asked if the shop opens at 12, she replied rudely, “Yeah” . Then proceeded to explain that they don’t always open at 12 because they have other work to do and there’s no one to open up. It was evident that the shop wasn’t ready to open for business as the staff member wasn’t attire ready. She was wearing slippers. My complain is if there are business hours set, then the business should honor those hours. In my opinion, it is very unprofessional, and not to mention losing business. Hopefully, the business takes this into consideration and shows that they value their customers by honoring their hours.

When they are open this is a good cold stone. But they close at 9:30 every day of the week, and Google maps says they close at 11pm on the weekends. Google rejected my edit to correct this twice, even though I included this picture of the hours posted on the store! So this review is here to warn you: even on Friday and Saturday they close promptly at 9:30.

I walked into the store and this employee looked really mad at me and my friend already as if she wanted us out immediately. She had an angry face on and when I asked for a cone with peanut butter butterfinger she only gave me one scoop of ice cream. I paid 10 dollars for a stale cone and one small lousy scoop of ice cream. I get it if she was having a bad day but that doesn’t mean you get to do that to customers ♂️.

I have not been here in years. I feel like the last time I was here was maybe a few months or so after they first opened? I figured it would be a good idea to use the cold stone gift cards that I’ve been holding on to for a while now.
Honestly, I was surprised this place is still open, and so many people still go here. Once I thought about it, there’s not a lot of ice cream places in the area.
The service was pretty fast. My ice creams were a lot more melted than I anticipated, but still good.

Worse cold stone I have ever ordered from today. Used the app to order. Thought it would be better then ordering through grubhub. They always mess up the order. This time I got so much attitude from the female worker in there. Terrible store! Don’t come here. $50 bucks I should have spent elsewhere.

Yummy ice cream, but awful delivery experience. I ordered a birthday cake to be delivered to my address in SF, since it was only an additional $2. Unfortunately, my courier was given the wrong order (just a pint, not even a cake). Cold Stone called me to ask if I could call my courier to notify them, but their cell number was not available on my delivery tracking.
Because Cold Stone uses Grubhub for delivery, I tried to call Grubhub customer service, but they could not help me because Cold Stone initiated the order. Grubhub then told me to call Cold Stone.
So, now in a classic customer service loop, I tried to call Cold Stone again. Turned out, they can only make outbound calls, but they can’t receive inbound calls. I tried calling multiple times but the call always ended immediately.
I tried calling another Bay Area Cold Stone location to see if they could help me get in touch with the Daly City location, but they just said that their phone is broken and there is no other way to reach them.
When my courier showed up, I told him he had the wrong order. It would be a lot to ask him to go all the way back 25 minutes to pick up the order and then come all the way 25 minutes back. Bad timing, Daly City Cold Stone called me back while I was talking to the courier. I tried calling them back to no avail. They didn’t try calling again.
SO in the end, I went to the Daly City location personally to pick up my cake. I didn’t receive any compensation for the messed up order, so it ended up being worse and more stressful than if I had just planned to pick up the cake myself in the first place.
If you are thinking about getting delivery, I would recommend trying to go in person instead or accepting that you might have to go in person if you get the wrong order.
1 star.

First time trying out cold stone for ice cream. This location is conveniently located along a strip of food/drink places near the movie theatre and makes for a nice snack on a hot day.
The ice cream was presented nicely but was quite melted having just been served. The interior of the store had very sticky floors and had a stench of warm leftover ice cream in the trash can.
Not the greatest of atmosphere but service was friendly and courteous. I think they need to step up their cleanliness game and it would be a more enjoyable experience.

For $10, I order a milkshake and got milk with a spoon full of ice cream in it . The employee put it in a blender and it just made a foot of bubbles . Unbelievable, over rated , I’m disgusted.

I ordered 2 smoothies, which is not cold at all! I asked for a cup of ice & she said they’re out of ice. Why didn’t she say that in the beginning & I can just go somewhere else.
