Leo’s Deli serves breakfast and lunch sandwiches, hot buffet platters, fresh salads and hot entreés for dinner and catering for any event. Fresh brewed coffee, tea and juices available from 6AM, plus omelette platters with home fries, pancakes, bagels and more. For lunch, Leo’s serves Italian-American hero sandwiches, hot lunch and dinner entrees, including slow-roasted pork (pernil), roasted lamb, broiled fish, steak, Chicken Française, hearty beef & chicken stews with rice or mashed potatoes, grilled vegetables, pastas, Eggplant Parmesan, homemade meatballs and more. Leo’s dining area is now available. Desserts include the trés leches cake (fantastic). Leo’s also offers fresh produce and groceries.

My rating is based on that it is average and did not meet expectations on things beyond the standard LI breakfast of BECSPK. It just didn’t hit that spectacular mark for me in comparison to the MULTITUDE of eateries out there. Might I be back to try their hot foods? There’s a good chance on that as they looked delicious. Would I recommend this place for those looking for a decent breakfast egg sandwich? Yes.

Leo’s Deli in Glen Cove is absolutely phenomenal. From the warm greeting at the door to the incredible hospitality, Leo and his family always make you feel welcome and cared for. On October 2, 2025, Leo graciously hosted the very first Women Veterans Only Listening Forum, and he went above and beyond in providing a phenomenal menu of our choice.
We enjoyed a full dish of pork, rice and peas, sweet plantains, jambalaya rice, and other delicious offerings — every guest raved about the food, especially the jambalaya rice and pork. Everything was flavorful, plentiful, and served with genuine heart.
But what makes Leo’s truly special is Leo himself. No matter how busy the day, he always makes sure I eat well — and eat healthy. His kindness, along with his wonderful family (including his son), shines through in everything they do.
Leo, thank you for taking the time to listen to women veterans’ issues and for leaning in, responding, and helping us rebuild — starting with the nourishment of a wholesome meal. You have my deepest gratitude for your generosity and your heart.

Literally the only place in NEW YORK who puts steak out at 10:00 am. What lunch special starts at 10:00 am. God forbid you arrive arrive at 1:00 pm ( lunchtime ) && there is NEVER any steak but they increased the price for it! Run don’t walk away from this place !!!!

Almost $20 for a hero, chips and drink which is pricey, then you see this thin made hero. Atleast if prices were comparable to the hero being made with healthy portions, I’d understand the price. But i won’t be back.

It was great to visit Leo’s after so many years, I use to visit them over 10 years ago when I used to work in the area and today was my first time in town since then and I wanted to get my breakfast here, some improvements here and there and the same quality of food and service, If you’re in town make sure you visit Leo’s.

Very good lunch. I got steak platter with guacamole salad on top. Super quick and the steak is always the best here. It’s very busy during the week and on the weekends. Highly recommend sandwiches here too( chicken cutlet variety on hero).

Worst deli experience in Glen Cove hands down! Orders are wrong more often than they’re right, the staff treats customer service like an afterthought, and the food isn’t worth the wait. If you value your time, money, or appetite, go anywhere else. Do yourself a favor and just take the drive to the locust valley deli.

I enjoy my breakfast every time. It’s so good. The bread is always fresh and so is the lettuce… I always go with the BLT but without bacon and added mozzarella cheese..
