Cutest comfortable laid back restaurant. The food was very authentic. As a Los Angeles native this was important to me. Real Horchata! Not from a mix. Real tortillas not store bought. Drinks are great here. Affordable average priced menu, friendly staff. I would suggest they change the chips they use for the chips and salsa, but other than that everything was excellent!

Went here for a date night with the wife and it was amazing. Our server recommended the carne asada and the birria tacos and both were delicious! Very tender and flavorful.

WOW. The carne asada was phenomenal! Perfectly grilled with a beautiful char, incredibly tender, and bursting with flavor in every bite. You can really taste the fresh marinade—smoky, savory, with just the right hint of citrus and spice. It was juicy, cooked to perfection. This is the kind of carne asada that keeps you coming back and dreaming about it later. Hands down, a must-order and easily one of the best I’ve had! .
Then to top it off i had the Flan absolutely delicious!!!!

Stopped in under the new management and was really impressed with what they’re putting out. The birria tacos were packed with flavor and cooked perfectly, and the whole place has a warm, welcoming feel to it. The drink menu is also a standout — everything we tried was fresh and really well made. Definitely worth checking out if you’re looking for great food and an inviting spot to relax.

My husband and I stopped in for our first time on Valentine’s Day evening. Despite how busy they were, the service was top notch and the food was even better! We each ordered the Birria tacos and were extremely impressed! We are already planning our next meal with Casa Catrina Thank you!

Salsa Taste amazing, Mole was flavorful, Birria Tacos were jam packed full of flavor. Atmosphere is cozy, the staff was helpful and kind. Love this place highly recommend to anyone looking for a flavorful mexican place with kick ass people

The bar tender is also the host and the server. He worked hard the whole time we were there, but he also can’t be everywhere at once. Just know it’ll be a while if you visit this spot. We weren’t on a schedule so we didn’t mind, but I could see someone being upset if they don’t enter with that mindset.
That said, we had a good time. The drinks were good and so was the food. Like most Mexican restaurants, you get a bit more food for the price than you’d think. Considering how expensive everything is, it was nice to see that this place is competitive.
Overall, we had a good time and would definitely go back—but only if we knew we’d have time to spare. Definitely recommend a visit!

Great authentic Mexican food (we’re from AZ) You know it’s gonna be good when the beans are top notch! Had Birria Tacos and Chili Relleno – high quality and generous portions. Homemade organic corn tortillas were excellent. Glad we gave it a try and will be back soon. You should go now!
