First time trying this place out, I had carnitas with cilantro rice, yummy. Carnitas was not overcooked and dry. Mom had tamale, enchilada with Spanish rice. Salsa was good too. A+ in our book! We will return. Only one tiny thing…I can never get hot tea at most of the restaurant establishments, so i carry my own tea bags now.

Young man was by the front with a tootsie pop in his mouth. Talked to man at front, then seated us. Previous customer signed bill was on the floor. I told him. Had to ask 3 times for silverware. All male employees were hanging around the front leaning on the counter. I asked what happened to the music? Server said oh and had someone turn it on. The salsa was full of big chunks of tomato and wouldn’t come out of the container. No guacamole on my meal as noted on the menu. Upon leaving employee males were all seated at a front booth. They looked bored and not wanting to be there.
I brought family here because our first visit was great. I was very embarrassed this visit was very poor. Not sure I will return. We Did Not feel valued as customers!

The food was top notch. The pastor was cut the way it should be, not to small, soft and juicy.
I also had the shrimp cocktail. It was loaded with shrimp and about a half fresh avocado on the rim along with fruit . It was fantastic.
The staff was attentive but not bothersome.
The restaurant itself was beautiful and very comfortable.
Great place to take a date or your family.

The worst service I’ve ever experienced! We sat there for 10 minutes before anyone even came to our table for chips or to take our drink order then waited 20 more minutes to place our food order. Our drinks sat on the table empty 90% of the time. The wasn’t very busy. Our waitress was just ignoring us. She was constantly at the tables around us making sure they had plenty to drink and refill of chips. When we asked for a refill on our drinks she rolled her eyes then took her another 10 minutes before getting us a refill. Than when the food came out it was just lettuce with 2 bites of meat (chicken taco salads for both). We then had been there for a hour just waiting for our food. Our drinks was empty again an we had to ask another waitress to fill them up. We asked our waitress for our check and she rolled her eyes again than just “tossed” the check on the table 10 minutes later than walked away didn’t say anything.
Can honestly say I will never be returning to this restaurant after this experience. And I am never one to leave a review but I was just shocked with how poor the service was.

We usually go to another local Mexican restaurant but the quality of the food and the service has gone downhill. We tried El Azteca for the first time last night and everything was delicious and extremely affordable. The service was quick and very friendly. Looks like this will be our go to for Mexican food from now on. I had the Seafood Fajita and it was fantastic. I will definitely have it again.
Update: This is now the only Mexican restaurant we go to. Absolutely love it!!

Well this is a refreshing addition to the food scene in Greeneville. There are other Mexican restaurants in Greeneville, but the menu offerings read the same. This place offers a new spin on many of the usuals. The peach margarita was delicious. The chicken taco salad had an amazing gravy/sauce on the bottom of a crispy fried shell. And the beef my husband ordered had a delicious grilled flavor. The atmosphere and the service were definitely great too. This place is going to be very busy if I understand a good place.

If you have 3 hours to wait sure you can come to this place. They take forever to bring out your order and I wish it was because the food is fresh but it never is. They make you wait an hour for your food and then it all comes out cold every time. And to top it all off they have 2 locations and they are both equally bad. Please find somewhere else to go.
