I had the fiery tofu and vegetables to go. It was fresh, delicious and spicy. The veggies were cooked just right, still green and crunchy. The coconut rice was a nice surprise, a bit sweet but it complemented the spice very well.

We went to my favorite Thai place this week. Every Single Thing we had was Amazing! We tried new dishes and went with old favorites. Each had their own unique flavor profile. All were generous with ingredients. Many items you are able to choose your protein. You can select your own spice level as well, me a literal zero, my husband a six and he LOVES spicy, just saying.

Even though the dining room was empty when we went the place was swarming with Door Dash deliverers. This is a minimally staffed operation so patience is key. Service was excellent and food came out quickly. Look over the menu and just pick something. If they are out pick another thing. It’s All That Good.

They are apparently about to change ownership. I really hope the new owners realize how great this place is and don’t alter too much!

High Peak is one of my favorite restaurants in Nebraska. The tea leaf salad is incredibly crunchy, flavorful, and refreshing. We love ordering the Oh No Kauswer, Bun Tay Kauswer, Mint Jalapeño Chicken, Fiery Chicken, and Chicken Kebat. All of the food we’ve ordered has been fresh and delicious. Be sure to try the tea leaf salad and order the fragrant coconut rice! I highly recommend High Peak if you enjoy Asian food and want to try Burmese cuisine.

Food was mediocre. Lamb curry stew was a little chewy. Spring rolls were tasteless. Chicken yellow curry had overcooked chicken and undercooked vegetables. Green curry had a lil different taste. Spice levels were slightly off.
Make sure to call ahead for 10+ people so the restaurant has time to prepare supplies.

The food’s always been top notch. I love their basil fried rice and the spring rolls and Pad Thai are also supreme. They used to have iffy service but since changing owners have really stepped it up. Renovated inside too to have a better atmosphere. Isn’t going to be anything too fancy but it’s a great joint to enjoy Burmese and Thai. Best Thai food in Lincoln, not that there’s a whole lot of options but I’ve had Thai in a lot of places and they are very good and consistent with the quality of food they provide.

I like the food here. We got pad see ew and the garlic noodles; each of us liked our own dishes more. It isn’t as flavorful as it looks, but it was still good, and they aren’t shy with the chicken. I would come back.

New owners within the last few weeks. I was so excited to see the updates as the place had good food and terrible atmosphere before. Now, there is new paint, new floors and terrible dinner. The server was trying but many orders were incorrect and food wasn’t coming out. My spring wraps were FULL of green onion and it was the only thing I could taste. The chicken dish was overcooked and syrup, add your own spice (so why ask what spice level?). My pad woon sen came out without meat or the veggies, just glass noodles and cabbage, also spice. Server told me he’d remake it, but more than 20 min later, no food. They were busy but everything was bad. I really had high hopes, but they failed everywhere. Another table had frozen chicken come to the table. Dishes at tables coming out 15 minutes apart. I never got my dish. 75 minutes in a small place. I had a show to go to where popcorn was dinner.

I cannot express how good the food is at High Peak restaurant. It is by far the best tasting Asian restaurant in Lincoln Nebraska in my opinion. If you care about eating high quality food that is packed with flavors in a clean restaurant then this is your best Asian option. The prices are very affordable. The staff are friendly. You get your money’s worth at this restaurant without paying for over the top restaurant decor.
