This is a response to Mr. Hh H post and to clear up the false claim made by him. Due to our Google business account still getting verified, we were not able to respond through that account. Will start off by saying it is not in our character to respond to the reviews because people are free to express their thoughts and opinions, but a claim like the one Mr. Hh H has made is one we can not ignore. Since it is one that can truly hurt a restaurant especially a small one like ours. In his post he said that a box of Menudo(tripe) was dropped on the ground picked up thrown into a bin taken inside to wash and sell to our customers. Then goes as far to post misleading photos of the situation. On one of the photos, it shows a gentleman sweeping the ground. Yes, he is sweeping the ground because the box of Menudo was dropped on the ground we had to pick it up. We can’t just leave food rotting on the ground, and we threw it into a bin because we had to bag it up before we toss it into the dumpster. On another photo, it shows a bin with menudo(tripe)in it. Apparently people can’t have more than one of the same items. We kept telling him that was a different batch of menudo(tripe) since we do not just order one box we order multiple batches and as well have more than one of the same bins. On a third photo, it shows the crew around the sink washing menudo(Tripe) for those who are unfamiliar with how to prep Menudo, it must be washed before we can even cook it or else it will come out with a bad odor and that was a different batch that they were working on not the one that was dropped on the ground. We tried to explain to him what was going on, we could have even showed him the trashed menudo(Tripe), but he refused to listen and just kept making threats about calling the health department which he is more than welcome to do so since we have absolutely nothing to hide and are positive we have done nothing wrong.Taqueria La Herradura has never nor would they ever serve food to the customers that has touched ground. Along with this post, I have attached a video and photo proof of the menudo that was dropped on the ground and that it was disposed of and how we still have another fresh batch as well as the multiple bins.

I just went to this taco place for the first time in the farmers market hey dropped 2 bins of food in the parking lot I watched them pick it up take it n wash it n the sick
A month ago, they updated their pictures and trying to say that they threw everything away in the trashcan but if you can see the trashcan is less than 30 feet away and while he’s sweeping up into a dust pan, there is no trash bag present. How can he say? They threw it away in the trash if there’s no trash bag present while cleaning up the food I literally watched them sitting in my car sweep up, put it back in the bins no trash bag, but back into the bin and bring it back inside set it on the counter. Talk to another worker then take that same being back to the sink and wash it. those pictures he posted is false that’s after the fact this post got a lot of reviews. I am not a bad person I swear on my life, but I just did this so that the people who come to this restaurant know what type of people we’re dealing with this is at the farmers market we supposed to trust these people, food and products and for the restaurant to work inside the farmers market supposed to be at Gud standards and that’s another lie about need to wait to be verified by Google. I have a business too. I have a 4.8 and over 150 reviews. I’m not gonna state my business because I don’t want no harm to come to my business by letting the public know about this business here but no way I will call the health department and sit in a parking lot until I speak to somebody at the health department so that they can come check out this business unless it’s true if he was going to throw away the food, it would never went back inside the bins it would’ve went straight in inside a trash bag into the dumpster, not back inside the food bins that you use for your good food clean food unless you were going to keep that food, but I’m not just stating something. I think they did. I’m stating something I witnessed with my own two eyes from start to finish and confronted them once I seen them start washing the meat. I waited inside the store to watch and see what they did with the food. They just picked up. You can clearly see from the front register to inside the kitchen to where the back door is everything so I did not miss that one step.

A little hole in the wall in an unexpected spot but the staff is outstanding and friendly and the tacos (and other things) are phenomenal. 100% recommended.

Excellent, fresh authentic Mexican food made locally. Prepared immediately upon order. Friendly and quick service. Reasonably priced a La carte options, posted above order window. Simple presentation. No frills setting. Somewhat Noisy due to tvs or guests or kitchen staff. But, very delicious authentic tamales, tacos served on corn tortillas, sopa, etc. with very tasty Horchata.

If this was at Pepper Place or The Preserve in Hoover they would need a forklift for night deposits.
Well, Man Up and drive to Finley.
Nice folks, very clean place and above average Mexican street food.
Real tamales are a personal favorite and VERY hard to find in the Ham.
3 for $8 here.

Thank you for tamales, the first ones I have had in 10 years. They were awesome, just like the ones that I love from my friends in Texas. You will find them at the Farmers Market on Finkey Avenue. Small spot but filled with lots of hungry people wanting authentic Mexican food. Go to Taco Bell if you want ground beef, lettuce, cheddar cheese, sour cream, and hard flour tortillas but RUN to Taqueria LA Herradura if you want authentic, fresh ingredients such as tomatoes, corn and beans, with traditional spices, such as chiles and coriander, with fresh, soft corn tortillas.
That’s my report and I’m sticking with it!

Nice small authentic Taqueria. It’s not a big fancy restaurant, what is honest quality food. Amazing. Great for lunch or a quick husband wife dinner. Casual. They got a wonderful Habanero cream sauce for tacos that gives a little kick but tastes great.

I clearly asked the guy if the chicken is grilled and look what he gave me: this garbage looks like it was steamed or something. They think we never had grilled chicken or tacos before. $3/each. It cost me $25 including tips. No restrooms either.
