Don’t order sashimi here! We ordered the Spicy Girl & Caterpillar maki, and the Sashimi Lunch. The sashimi was a disappointment; the fish was bland and mealy-textured. It was also served in large chunks rather than slices – too big for one mouthful. Given the quality their fish, I think you’re safer ordering the maki, where other flavors will dominate. The maki we ordered were fine, although they forgot the tempura flakes on the Spicy Girl, so that was a bit lacking in texture. The miso soup that came with the Sashimi Lunch was nice. All-in-all, an okay place, reasonably priced, just avoid their sashimi!

Grateful they took our order for delivery close to their closing time. Quick and delicious rolls. Maki weren’t overstuffed w rice. The rolls were reasonably priced but not very long either. We ordered an extra just in case and that was the right amount. V good!

1. Excellent staff – The people there are very warm and welcoming, which makes eating there much more pleasant. The chef seems truly passionate about his art and will sometimes even offer recommendations if you aren’t sure what to get.
2. Authentic environment – The place may be smaller than you’d expect, but that’s what makes it realistic. Original sushi restaurants in Japan usually have a few seats in their restaurant. This is to ensure that only the freshest food is brought to the customer at a reasonable speed.
3. Flavorful food – The reason you’ve been waiting for. The food here tastes great. You can tell that the food is freshly made when you taste it. I recommend the Pink Lady and the fried gyoza.

the best sushi in the greater boston area!! there’s not that good sushi for this amazing price in boston, i would drive all the way to salem just for this sushi. the fish tastes very fresh and the sides are delicious!! amazing customer service, the experience is very welcoming!!
