I was thrilled to see Dumpling Master here in Athens. I always wanted to try it and was planning to try the Buford location, but psyched to see them 5 minutes from me. I’ve eaten here twice so far and both great experiences. I ate during lunch on Sunday so not super busy. Staff are welcoming and helpful with the menu. The pork wonton soup was amazing; didn’t need much doctoring. Broth was flavorful and nice and spicy. Wontons delicious and great flavor. My husband opted for the veggie fried rice and chicken dumplings, both delicious. I have yet to try the soup dumplings, but certainly plan to return. All the food was fresh and seemed prepared to order. Plus you have a cute robot kitty to deliver your food which is fun! The brown sugar milk tea was delicious and hit the spot. My husband got the passion fruit green tea. It was a bit sweet for his liking, but otherwise tasty. Overall great experience and plan to be a frequent customer!

I went with my sister for the first time recently, and we got the Shanghai fried noodles, pork chasu buns, and pork and cabbage pan fried dumplings. I thought all the food was delicious, especially the dumplings and sauce that came with it. All the food seemed reasonably price, and the service was quick. The food comes out on a singing robot. Additionally, they validate parking for two hours. I definitely want to come back to try more of the menu!

The delivery robot for food was a cool experience. Management and staff were very friendly and accommodating. Items are a tad bit pricey, but I guess you’ll pay a premium for the service and food quality. We tried a few different dishes and I liked all of them except for the duck buns. Just not my style but would encourage you to try them. Shrimp fried rice was my favorite dish, but I need to come back and try the spicy chicken. Definitely one of the more unique places in Athens tucked right outside of downtown. Enjoyed the experience.

First visit to Dumpling Master, and overall a solid experience.

We rolled in deep with a group of 12, which is more than the space is really designed for (it’s clearly set up best for parties of 2–4). To their credit, the staff moved tables together to accommodate us, which we appreciated. That said, the larger setup did create some confusion with the service robot, and a few dishes were briefly delivered to the wrong table before being corrected.

Food-wise, everything across the table was above average and served hot, which is what matters most. My wonton soup was excellent — comforting, flavorful, and a standout of the meal. Several guests ordered boba tea, and the consensus there was average to slightly below average, so that’s probably not the highlight.

If you’re worried about spice levels, don’t be — even the spicy dishes were approachable and not over-the-top.

We’d absolutely come back, just with a smaller group next time to let the place shine the way it’s intended.

For a soft opening, it was PACKED.
So the first thing I noticed is how quickly and efficiently they handled such a huge crowd. They handled it better than some veteran businesses here.
They were super friendly and once our orders were taken it wasn’t long until our dishes started coming out and boy was it delicious!
The noodles were okay but it was their dumplings that made the lasting impression!
For someone to call themselves a master at something is a bold statement. They did awesome, especially for a franchise.
Definitely will be going back to try even more menu items!

Awesome food and great service at Dumpling Master. Be patient. They can get busy and may have to wait on a table. But well worth it. Soup dumplings and fired noodles were just 2 of the amazing dishes we had. Can’t wait to try others.

My server was Jessie. She was nice, prompt and helped me validate my parking! She had great knowledge of the menu and steered me to the perfect meal and overall experience! I had the fried beef dumplings and orange chicken. Everything was hot and flavorful. Just watch out for the robot it may run you over if you’re not careful lol. I recommend this restaurant.

I do not understand the point of telling me my food will be ready at a certain time then come in to it not being ready for another 15 minutes and not having free parking so having to risk get ticketed to pickup your food , then the food itself is disappointing for being the supposed master of it, the soup dumplings are alright but nothing to write home about , while the regular ones are a joke and insult to food itself i can even describe the color of wh at the pan fried ones looked like in person while being greasy not even pan fried well and slippery they just throw a pork meatball in there and call it a day, they dont label there sauces so its a guess on what your dipping into and gave me 3 spoons when a fork could have been more useful cause the sauce containers are to small to dip into, then also while waiting for your order good luck with dodging the robots coming all around, also they have about a 40% upcharge on doordash and ubereats for the same low quality food. I’m not mad just disapointed

First experience I ordered from U we eats. Got friend dumplings and found them savory and delicious. Had a craving so stopped in and ordered togo. 2nd experience just as good or better. I have only had dumplings and cucumber salad but I will return to try the noodles and fried rice… If I can convince myself to skip the yummy dumplings! Also, they have a robot that delivers your food to the table if you stay to eat Worth it
