Best Mexican restaurant in Woodbury and surrounding area. I went there for Taco Tuesday and got two delicious tacos (steak and chicken tinga). It was only $4.90 including tax– great value! This restaurant is more authentic than most Mexican restaurants in the suburbs. They offer free salsas, limes, etc. Friendly service. Will definitely go back.

Fresh ingredients. Service was good. Staff was friendly. The restaurant was very clean. I had the American Taco with sides of rice and beans. My only complaint is there was no ground beef choice. One would expect ground beef for an American Taco. I chose the chicken. The flavor was good. The side orders of rice and beans was enough for two people.

Just discovered this hidden gem of a place! Nestled away in a shopping center is this amazing spot. As soon as you walk in the smells of fresh tortillas and some of Mexico’s finest meats take you away to a different place. As a first timer, I was highly impressed by the speed of the service and the flavors of Central America. You can have tacos, served two different ways, original and American style. I got the American style, which comes with lettuce, sour cream, cheese, and pico de gallo, which was absolutely amazing. Off to the side there is a salsa bar with extra hot, medium, and mild options. Also, fresh wedges of lime are available with tiny ramekins. I tried the steak chicken, Tinga, Carnitas and Barbacoa tacos. Spritzed with a little fresh lime juice made my tacos truly memorable! My girlfriend tried the Quesabirria tacos, which were a little different than other places served with chopped white onions, and cilantro on the inside and the shell was deep fried corn very crispy and yet chewy on the inside! Served with a tiny bowl of consommé they also were a total HIT! Prices weren’t too bad and added Mexican music definitely completed the vibe for this new adventure! Go check them out and try for yourself.

Oof, this is tough. I rarely review unless I have extremely good or bad experiences. I threw my food away because it was so awful. You would be better off going to Chipotle or Qdoba if you’re looking for value mexican. The burrito was bad, the beef was bad, the chips were still and the salsa was nothing special. I really wanted to like this restaurant but you should look elsewhere if you’re seeking mexican.

Just came back from Mexico a week ago and came to El super taco to scratch the itch and I was extremely satisfied almost disappointed at how similar it was to actual Mexico street food. Best authentic Mexican food in the Midwest.
Doing the damn thing with the tortillas and the El pastor taco was absolutely gas. I’ll give this five booms

The street tacos are absolutely delicious, I love the little add your own salsas or limes station and how much my tacos drip when I eat them. Staff were helpful and efficient. I love coming back to this location.

Delicious! I had the American tacos w/steak. Wife had the American taco with a corn tortilla and street corn. Meat was perfect with great flavor. Toppings were all fresh and delicious! I’ll definitely be going more often.

My husband always joked that Woodbury didn’t have any good Mexican restaurants. Now he’s having to take back his words. We throughly enjoyed our tacos and were so impressed that they handmade the corn tortilla for the quesadilla. Only mark against this place is restroom cleanliness— the women’s bathroom had empty rolls of toilet paper and the men’s didn’t have a trash can liner. Regardless, I would definitely recommend trying this place out and will be returning soon!
