We visited P. Terry’s Burger Stand #29 on February 19, 2026 at 11:12 p.m., and I felt compelled to leave a review because of the incredible experience we had.

From the moment we pulled up to the drive-thru speaker, we were greeted by “Bailey”, and he was absolutely outstanding!! He welcomed us with such genuine friendliness—asking how our evening was going and engaging with such natural enthusiasm. It may sound simple, but it truly made a difference. His energy was contagious and made the whole experience enjoyable before we even placed our order.

When we got to the window and met him in person, he was just as wonderful—super charming, personable, and kind. You can tell he either genuinely loves what he does or, at the very least, takes great pride in creating a positive experience for others. Either way, it shows.

Bailey is the kind of person other employees could learn from. His attitude, warmth, and professionalism really stood out. Honestly, I believe this is just a stepping stone for him—his personality alone will take him far, and I have no doubt he has a very bright future ahead.

It’s not every day you come across service like this, especially late at night. Thank you, Bailey, for making our evening that much better!!!

Stopped by P. Terry’s on 290 near Belterra for a classic cheeseburger combo with a root beer float, and it hit exactly the spot.

The cheeseburger was everything it should be—fresh, hot, and straightforward in the best way. Juicy patty, melted cheese, crisp lettuce, ripe tomato, and that signature sauce all working together on a soft, lightly toasted bun. No gimmicks, just a clean, well-executed burger that tastes like real food.

The fries were hot and lightly salted, with a fresh-cut texture that pairs perfectly with the burger. Simple, satisfying, and clearly made to be eaten immediately.

The root beer float was the perfect finish—cold, creamy, and nostalgic. Smooth vanilla ice cream with crisp root beer made it both refreshing and indulgent, especially on a Texas day.

Service was quick and friendly, and the location is easy to get in and out of, making it a great stop whether you’re passing through or grabbing a casual meal. P. Terry’s continues to prove that when you focus on quality and keep things simple, it works every time.

I PT on the reg, but with this spot here in drip I’ve had TWO auspicious visits. I went ~2weeks ago and chatted with the Kate night manager who day jobs as a plumber. Just a cool dude to chat with while waiting for my food to cook. Then I went last night and the young lady at the window drew a cat on my son’s shake. THIS is why I shop independent. I know PT is a chain, but it’s a local chain and as a result you get hardworking cool locals keeping it Drip Vibes all the way. Love PT food, but this particular spot seems to attract the good good

I’m glad I got a chance to stop by here again this time around. I’m from Los Angeles and I’ll always love my In-N-Out, but P. Terrys comes in a very close second.
Great burgers overall, but I also love that you can add bacon, jalapeños and even grilled jalapeños to your burger. You can change the cheese too! Prices are great, service is smooth and efficient… I’ll be stopping by here at least once every time I’m in town.

Just be aware: I was friendly and kept my order simple, however somebody still went out of their way to spit in my burger. This may not happen to everybody, but for whatever reason, it happened to me. Will continue to have P. Terry’s burgers, just not at this location.

I go to this location pretty often because it is close to my work, and usually I always have a positive experience. However, today I swung by after work to get just a burger and a drink, and it took a really long time to get my order of only two things. My drink was also messed up. I’m not sure if they were understaffed, but it was just not a great experience, especially after an extra long shift.

This is a great burger place and food was great. It reminds me of In&out burger in that the fresh hand cut frys taste the same and the burger are similar. The restaurant we visited was only a drive through and walk up. No inside dinning. Recommend if you want a good fast food burger.
