This is how my burger looked no French fries were delivered, which I paid for also no Bacon on my burger which I was charged extra For. Every time I order it’s always something! But now this will be the last time… I tried. Oh then I call and get no answer… a waste of money!!

25 minutes after placing our order, we had to ask why it was taking so long.. after finally receiving it, my husband’s hamburger had cheese so he grabbed a chip from his basket on the way to bring his burger back (he can’t eat cheese.) The manager came out to argue that he didn’t say no cheese.. he was quite rude talking over my husband.. as he was at the counter, I saw that under the chip he took, many of the chips were raw, and so was my grandsons burger..we didn’t want to wait another 30 min so we asked for a refund but the manager wouldn’t give it to us because my husband ate 1 chip.. 35.00 wasted on undercooked food and a nasty manager. We will never go back. * The gentleman behind the counter was nice. He attempted to apologise for his managers bad attitude. Sorry, I didn’t catch his name but we did appreciate that.

I’ve had my first experience at way back and it was incredible. The owner took my order and her energy and passion showed. So already I was hooked into the place. The food was really good in the sense where I 100% recommend that many people try this place out. I also like the app that’s available for setup. My account is loaded with incentives to go on and push for gold status. It’s so professionally made that it encourages me to want to order more. The food is made fresh so the wait is long but worth it because the food is made very well. I got the craft-it-yourself burger and the taste was so good. I also recommend the strawberry banana milkshake, it was so good and fulfilling. All in all, my first time experience was great and I was left satisfied with what we got to eat. Thank you way back for your leader and staff for a well done job and God bless you all and may Jesus’ presence continues to bless the success of the franchise. I will spread the word and tell my friends and family while I too continue to eat here. Update to owner: I am the gentleman Steve Garcia by the way who showed up with my family. I don’t know why I have given this place so many chances but today was the last. I ordered a single burger and tater tots. The tater tots smelled rotten and tasted like soap. The burger was so overcooked that it was completely dry and tasteless. I’ve ordered here more than five times (once on their website, all others on DoorDash) and there were issues every time. Ironically, the worst experience was when I ordered on their website and picked it up myself. I waited over an hour and then the food was given to me cold. Several times I have received incorrect orders. Sometimes items are completely missing. This place is a disaster. Save your money.

I discovered this place on Uber Eats a few months ago when I started looking for local restaurants to support throughout the pandemic and I can happily say that I am now a loyal customer. The service is fantastic, they’ve followed my order notes correctly every single time and my food always arrives hot within a half hour. Their shakes are probably my favorite thing about this burger joint because they taste like a classic malt. If you’re craving a burger and a shake, you’ll get more much more bang for your buck overall if you grab takeout from Wayback rather than spending your money at one of the mediocre classics. You can’t beat the price so what are you waiting for? 🙂

Amazing customer service I don’t get anywhere else! The orders are always accurate, the staff is always so friendly and welcoming. I come in order the food is ready perfectly and then when I go to pick up door dash orders for customers they have the orders ready accurately and so neatly and very very presentable! The younger woman manager there is always so welcoming and makes sure everything is perfect! I have yet to see a cleaner store than this store, so happy they opened here !!

Wayback Burger is one of the finest eateries in the Mastic area. When I went in I was greeted with a warm and friendly introduction by the girl working the register at the time. She was courteous, helpful, and quick with bringing me my meal. The employee preparing my food in the kitchen popped his head out from the receiving window and exchanged some friendly light banter as he handed my order off. The two of them made my experience at Wayback one that I will share with friends and colleagues as a great place to pick up some grub when in the area. Before I left I made sure to get their names so that I could deliver some positive feedback for them here, so thanks for making my Wayback trip memorable Mariam and Russell!

Here by making a review on this beloved restaurant called wayback burgers. The one employee by the name josh has helped me on many good deeds on my first day walking into the store. He help me with reading the whole menu because my eyesight is just terrible I couldn’t even see if those were fries or cheese sticks. He made me a delicious splendid milkshake best one I’ve ever had since my wife past away made me fall off my chair because of how my taste buds jumped he even helped escort me out because I couldn’t find the door out that young man did a lot for the couple minutes I was there and would love to go back if I could see my way back.
