I really try to support local when I can. With that said, this location needs a little love. Several of the icecreams were freezer burnt. I got a scoop of the maple walnut, and while the flavor was excellent, crunching on ice crystals was not. The milkshake wasn’t served with whipped cream or a cherry. Some air conditioning and pleasant music go a long way. I think I’ll stick with Muffins.

I had the pink lemonade sorbet, which was delicious and uncommon. The portion size was generous. There were several other flavors I wanted to try too! We will have to go back!

After lunch, Blue and I stopped by here for a cone of ice cream. I had the coffee flavored ice cream in a wafer cone and wow, it was delicious! The restaurant is very clean and seating is spread out spaciously. The atmosphere was very comfortable and absolutely ice cream and dessert oriented! I am probably going to make this a regular stop because it was delightful to visit and fairly priced for the dessert that I got! If you’re in the area, save some room during dinner because you’ll definitely want to stop by here and get some ice cream!

My husband were in there on 10/5 close to close behind what appeared to be a youth group of maybe 10-15 kids plus 2 adults. There was only one girl working and she did an absolute amazing job of serving the entire group ahead of us with speed and a smile! Our ice cream was a wonderful treat with amazing service!

It was one of those nights when we needed ice cream. So we chose to go to Smitty’s cause of the gluten free cones & ice cream. They were out of the cones. But we did roll in right before they were bout to close. Which was understandable. The ice cream was delicious & the girls working that night were very helpful & friendly. You have to go. They built-in stools out front were cute too.

New owners have tanked a Burlington classic. After moving out of state came back excited to bring my daughter to the place a grew up coming to. Unfortunately I was disappointed. Prices have increased and quality just isn’t the same. A kiddle cone is $6 and a milk shake that is 3/4 full is $8. Ice cream is fine but no where near the quality it used to be or worth what they are charging. Additionally if what other reviewers are saying is true and gift cards sold earlier in the year are no longer accepted, that borders on criminal. Will. not be back.

Central location to stop in if you are walking around downtown (close to restaurants, book store, thrift shop). The ice cream itself is extremely creamy and rich. Not my favorite, just my preference. Friendly service.

Smitty’s is a great place to get seasonal flavors of homemade ice cream. Tomorrow is mother’s day and I got lavender and rose ice cream. Love the classic flavors and the unique ones! This location has board games you can play while you enjoy your ice cream.

I was walking around downtown and I decided to get some ice cream even though it was a very cold day. I went inside there wasn’t anybody there and I look at my options. There are so many options to choose from! I got the cookie dough and I ate it inside and it was very good and delicious. It taste like high quality ice cream.
Overall I recommend it. 10/10
