Food was fornominal!!! A+ the drinks were great too. service was excellent and I enjoyed the workers dressing up for Halloween. Will be back soon i was almost finished eating when I snapped a picture.

Our party of four opted to go about 2:30 and the place was not busy. We had a nice lady come and open the door for us as my mom was in a wheelchair. She also made a place at the table for her. We opted for our first course. We tried several wines to try before we agreed on one for our meal. Are food and appetizers came in hot and fresh. Are waitress came and made sure our plates were clear from the table in a timely manner, and make sure that she had all our needs met. Are food was great just enough spice without being overly garlicky. We had lasagna, spaghetti and meatballs and a small pepperoni pizza. Atmosphere what’s great it was quiet and laid back. We plan on going back again.

Just in the area working and my husband wanted a good steak. We found Nico’s. The food was delicious. A lot of restaurants don’t put much effort into their sides, but the asparagus and especially the potato casserole were fantastic. Service was excellent. Really nice atmosphere. Drove from Ripley. Definitely worth the drive.

I went to dinner with a group of friends during a conference at Blue Mountain College. Of course, coming from out of town, this was my first time experiencing Nico’s in New Albany. The wait time was about 15-20 minutes. Granted, our group of ten hadn’t made a reservation and it was between 7-8pm on a Saturday when we arrived. The staff was very attentive and focused on getting tables cleaned for our group to eat together. All of our food came out hot and fresh within 30 minutes of ordering. Our appetizers were great. Highly recommend the fried mozzarella or calamari. The pizza was a satisfying highlight around our table. You can’t go wrong with the pepperoni, spinach Alfredo, or the buffalo chicken. Personally, what stole the show for me was this Italian Lemon Creme Cake. It was an absolute delight from start to finish. Sweet, moist, and definitely worth the $6. Fair warning, after that first bite, you’ll want a second slice to take home!! Nico’s is THE place to enjoy an affordable meal with friends and family in New Albany!

Passing thru and found this on Google maps. Stopped in for lunch. Glad we did. Had the ribeye steak, salad, and whipped sweet potatoes. Also had the calamari. Great food. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Definitely will be stopping again when we pass thru.

First time ever going, I had never heard of the place until my brother introduced it to me. It was very lively, the service was phenomenal – we never once had to hunt the waiter down and ask for anything. He made sure to check on us plenty but was not overbearing. The food was even better. I was very surprised and pleased.
The wait time was not terrible, 20 minutes. It was completely packed when we arrived which is usually a great sign in my opinion, but we struggled to find a close parking spot. We had to park across the street and walk. No biggie. Well worth it.
I’m skeptical when it comes to chicken but I got the Chicken Marsala and it was cooked to perfection. Full of flavor! My brother got the steak and let me try some of it. I’ve never eaten a steak without steak sauce until I tried it here! Extremely juicy and flavorful.
We got cocunut fried shrimp for an appetizer and white cheddar mac-n-cheese, loaded potato casserole, and asparagus for sides. All of it was delicious! Will be going back and recommending it to others!

Great little hidden gem in New Albany! Ate here on a solo work trip on a Thursday night. I had the Fried Mozzarella Sticks as an appetizer. They were the largest mozzarella sticks I’ve ever seen. Very good too.
For my entre I had the 14oz Ribeye (medium rare) with Brussels Sprouts and Loaded Potato Casserole. The steak was seasoned and cooked perfectly. The Brussels Sprouts were delicious. They had bacon and a nice sauce over them. The potato casserole was good but nothing to go crazy over.
The atmosphere is nice and the wait staff were very kind and efficient.

We were lucky enough to happen upon this wonderful and quaint restaurant. The decor and atmosphere was beautiful and calming. I promise you will never find a nicer and more gracious staff. Their menu is small but offers a variety from burgers, unique woodfire pizzas, pastas, seafood and steaks. I had the BBQ Bacon Burger and a side Caprese Salad. Both were excellent. My dining companions ordered Coconut Shrimp and Loaded Bake Potato Casserole and they were both very pleased. Visit Nico’s for the food and atmosphere and then wander their amazing little town and shops. When back in this area, I will definitely return.
