Zero stars if possible. This was my third time giving this place a chance. I wanted to like it. Only two tables while I was there so wasn’t busy. I wanted to try and omelet and made very specific details of how I wanted it and how I didn’t. If you overcook an omelet and it has brown spots all over, I just can’t eat that. You’ve killed that poor egg. I told her I want my egg soft and not with burnt brown spots. She said no problem. When she brought my egg out she brought the exact thing I couldn’t eat and made excuses why they couldn’t make it my way which blew my mind. As soon as she left I took that egg put it on a different plate and put it very far from me. So show I wouldn’t be eating it. She never came to check up on me again. Until I finished my sausage, toast, and home fries I didn’t call for the check. She brought check and when she got to the table she gave a gasp of oh my were there any issues with the eggs. I actually laughed because it was an astonishing response knowing I made very clear from the beginning I wouldn’t eat something like this if it were brought out. And I guess she was shocked that her excuse for why they brought me eggs like this wasn’t acceptable to me. I’m a paying customer, I’m not eating what I don’t want. I leave payment and get up to leave and she says sir we’ll take the omelet off. We’ll deduct from the check. I just laughed. I said I’m leaving. If her service was even mediocre she would have checked up on with me because she had ample time. While I’m walking out is such a load of bs excuse. They hoped I eat what they served, pay them and leave. But I despise brown eggs, eggs are suppose to be yellow. If you leave them on your grill forever they brown. You don’t cook eggs and steak the same way. Service here horrendous, food honestly awful. Go to Cracker Barrel for breakfast or any other restaurant who probably will care about how their client wants their food.

I’ve been coming to Barry’s since I was young, and it continues to be one of my favorite local spots. The customer service is always excellent — warm, welcoming, and consistent every single visit. Everyone here treats you like family from the moment you walk in. You can really feel that Barry’s is a place that values its customers and takes pride in serving the community. The food is always fresh, delicious, and made with care, whether you’re stopping in for breakfast, lunch, or a quick bite to go. It’s the perfect mix of quality food, friendly staff, and a comfortable, hometown atmosphere. What I love most is that Barry’s delivers great quality at great prices, which is getting harder to find these days. It’s the kind of reliable, hometown spot you can always count on. You can tell why it’s a top choice for so many locals. If you’re looking for friendly staff, tasty food, fast service, and unbeatable value, Barry’s is absolutely worth the visit. I’ll keep coming back — just like I have since I was a kid.

The place was busy when we came for a late breakfast and now I can see why. The vibe there is positive and energetic, and I see the staff really care for their customers. Not to mention their food: the tres leches pancakes are out of this world, no syrup needed! Will definitely be back to try more of the menu. Thanks!

I’ve only eaten breakfast here. My go to is the beef sausage, eggs, home fries and toast. I’ve gotten coffee twice. I like my coffee strong and it was far from strong. Overall the breakfast is average. The food is prepared quickly.

Ill share my brutal honesty.

The price is right, for subpar service but average breakfast items.

If you want to a NJ classic like a BEC- unfortunately you’ll get unflattering comments while trying to enjoy food with a less than ideal atmosphere. That includes rude comments in ear shot.

Did my 5 friends have the same taste? Perhaps. Likely I’ll go elsewhere, without any of my friends.

Or it’s just rude enough commentary to prove my point.

I’m a top google food reviewer.
Maybe watch the commentary!
