Hard to rate this restaurant. The decor is innovative, themed like a rustic copper mine — and this works. Very comfortable and inviting. Yet the food didn’t measure up. The cranberry pecan salad was nondescript… unremarkable. And the meatloaf seemed promising, as the presentation was good, yet it frankly was not. So overall, the dining experience was unfortunately marginal.

Love the theme and it’s decorations match. Very attentive and kind waitress although we went at a slow time. The food is average but fairly priced. My sister had gone another time and raved about their fried pickles. Nice light wine selection and I didn’t get it, but would like to try the wine sampler next time around. Again, super cute theme and it’s definitely some needed character to the restaurants in Fulton.

Overall it has been pretty good every time I eat here. It seems like the building is waaaaaaaaayyy too big for the small staff. The mileage they have to cover causes slow service. Had to find someone to seat us on more than one trip. The food is pretty good. I usually get the miner nachos and a pork tenderloin and have always been super happy with the meal. The pizza is really good. Good wine and fair pricing based on the amount food. The servers are nice and friendly, but can easily overlook someone in the corner booth. I will continue eating here, and recommend it to others.

We were very disappointed with this meal. The atmosphere was good but everything else was not. The food was ok. Tasted good but smaller portion than we thought for the price. My spinach and artichoke chicken maybe had a Tablespoon of dip on it. Service was very bad. Wrong drink, asked for ketchup and never got, never had drinks refilled. Wait was way too long, 1 hour and 15 minutes for our food. Paid cash because we had witnessed others waiting a long time to.get.their cards back.after.paying. Not local.so.we.wouldnt be back.anyway. Just disappointed.

I love going to The Copper Mine whenever I visit Fulton, MO. Their food is delicious every time I go and I must not be the only one because they always have a crowd. I have only had one bad experience with the wait staff, which I brought to managements attention and they apologized and took care of the problem. If you visit and want one of the best waitresses they have, request the waitress named Jessica. The restaurant also contains a bar and offers mixed drinks. The mixed drinks listed in the menu aren’t the normal mixed offered at other bars and restaurants. I have tried several mixed drinks offered at The Copper Mine and I don’t know if you need to acquire a taste for them or not, but I was not impressed with any of them.

Got there about 3:30 today, sat by the front window to keep and eye on our dog on the back of the truck. Ten minutes later the server who said she was the manager, took our order for two bottles of Bud Light. Brought back two glasses of draft beer and menu. But the beer was cold. Another more than ten minutes, she comes and takes our order. 30 minutes later we have not seen her or any other customers. Went to the restroom and there were only four other customer’s at two tables. Waited another half hour and walked. Left ten bucks the the two draft beers. Unless the management or owners change, we will not be back. No service, no food and sitting in a cold room.
Too bad I had to give it a one star rating, it would not let me post a minus three or minus five star rating.

Service was horrible on mothers day. I took my mother in law and my wife and kids here for lunch. The buffet was very limited and you have to walk around the bar to get there most food items were dryed out in food bar and choices were limited. The waitress was not professional at all she spilled tea in the floor right beside my wife’s chair and never cleaned it up so my wife had to walk and tip toe around it to get to her seat. They up charged me two dollars per buffet. I know this because we called back to check pricing and they said it was 14.95 and they charged us 16.95. All around not a good experience. I will not go back.

Went in on mother’s day at about 3. They said can’t order off the menu. But we have a buffet for 15$ a plate. Was like ok what the hell. But it wasthe worst buffet I ever seen. Asked the server why we couldn’t order off the menu and she said we had a really busy lunch. Just thought after that they either didn’t have a cook or they didn’t feel like cooking . But any ways the service was goof.
