Unfortunately I had to rate this experience with at least one star but they really deserve zero stars. But here we go. My mom and I placed a food and drink order, got our food, went to self checkout to pay. We asked the cashier if we can use giftcards to pay at the self checkout and she said Yes so we proceeded. We had two giftcards to use. We scanned the giftcards from our cell phone and both were accepted leaving a remaining balance of $1.19. I then tried to use my debit card to pay the remaining balance and it got declined. I then tried a credit card and that got declined too. We tried to use tap with a Cash App card and that was also declined. We call the cashier over and she can’t help so she calls her manager out. The manager comes out and reboots the self checkout machine because it crashed. The manager then says “once the machine reboots and is back up and running the money will go right back onto your giftcard. She further explains “the transaction is suspended and nothing else they can do”. After waiting over 20 minutes I finally paid with my own debit card but WE are now out $35.99 in giftcards. I ask the manager “can you give us a giftcard for $35.99 since I already paid another way?” Her response “We will be out that money.” The manager then called Corporate and opened a claim and says “it will take up to 24 hours for the money to go back onto the giftcard.” Are you really serious right now?!?! Ok. We wait and it’s been 24 hours and guess what? THE MONEY STILL HAS NOT BEEN PUT BACK ONTO THE GIFTCARD! If the transaction was suspended, when the machine comes back up why not void the whole transaction ? Then nobody is out money??? So who cares that WE are out the money, all you care about it YOU being out that money. Make it make sense!!!!! What if I had no other way to pay? How awful and disgusting WAWA!!!!!! Do better!!!!!!!

I regularly get hoagies from here, usually the same hoagie each time.
It’s consistent and pretty tasty by my standards.
I’m not sure if it’s a limited thing, but I do like the 2 for $5 deal on select teas and fruit drinks.

I enjoy the Wawa franchise but this Wawa is disappointing. On most mornings I have been in, they are out of multiple coffees. I recently tried their new panini sandwich and it wasn’t even panini pressed. I would not recommend.

They continously mess up HOT LATTES. It’s not there first time doing this, but my latte does not have the caramel in it nor the caramel drizzle. I don’t understand how there employees can screw up coffee when the ingredients and instructions are written right in front of them. Now I have what taste like water down latte with no caramel! It’s my hard earned money, NOT THEIR money! Some employees are incompetent!

Marissa seems to have a problem with people eating at 12:30 at night. I’m not too sure if she was the manager but I assume that she is and yet her attitude was bad for what she has to say in front of people when we’re the ones giving them a paycheck she needs to learn to respect
