I planned on trying Roma ( because the aromas were calling me in) before I left KPT so I went in for a slice one night and even though they had a good assortment of slices, I just had to try the fig pizza.
My problem was that I had to order a whole pie. I only had one day left but ordered it anyway (knowing I would have to waste most of it). It was hard to spend that much $$ when I only wanted a slice ( could have had another lobster roll!! ) but I did and I’m happy I did!
I also bought an alcoholic drink. This was a December night and very cold so hurried to my cozy Airbnb. OMG What’s the word for better than perfection???!
I only wish I had it days before so I would have been able to eat more. It was honestly one of the best pizzas I have ever had.
( Look up the menu on their site!)
Done to perfection which is not that easy to find. Not at all underdone and skillfully taken out just as the crust starts to blacken.
I have been on a quest to find a fig pizza that good ever since I got home.
Wouldn’t you think an Italian city like Buffalo, it would be no problem? Well it is a problem. I did find one but wasn’t anything like Roma as per menu. Doesn’t matter. I was told they don’t really make them anymore!??!
I did find a promising place on line during the months of Dec. Jan. and Feb. as I was a prisoner in my home during snowstorms, ice storms and blizzards. It’s only 50 miles away in a truly Italian town and sounds very promising. Going this week! This is how obsessed I am with Roma’s fig pizza!!
PS BTW , I don’t like cheese overkill on any pizza so I (almost) always mention this and am a big ricotta fan.
I can’t wait to SHARE a fig pizza there next time. Cozy dining area on right and very nice small bar area on left. Staff super nice.

OMG SO SO GOOD!! My husband and I were in Kennebunkport for the July 4th holiday weekend. It was raining cats and dogs and we wanted to have a cozy pizza night. There was a miscommunication with our order and it was cancelled somehow without us knowing. (The email went to an old email address or something) We went to pick up our order and they were basically closed. The owners saw us knocking on the door. (We we’re freaking out because we didn’t have plan b as it was already late and no other options for dinner). The owners brought us into their pizzeria. He turned his pizza oven back on and made us our two pies (we really didn’t need both of them!!) they even had a drink with us while it was cooking. The pizza was absolutely phenomenal. We were in heaven and the owners are really something else. We had a nice conversation. Really really wonderful down to earth couple. They really went above and beyond for us and we will always remember our pizza night in Kennebunkport. Thank you again for all that you did. It’s rare to find people like that. We had our own private pizza experience at Roma’s and loved every second. -Carolyn & Kyle

Enjoyed the cheese bread, although a little greasy. Pizza was just OK. Had higher expectations. Sausage and pepperoni looked good but I don’t eat that meat. Not the best vegetarian options. Had a pizza with mushrooms and was very disappointed that they were from a jar or can.

Amazing Sour dough style pizza. If it’s available, order it!!! Wow! Am hopeful it will be on the menu permanently for the next time in town! Yum and thank you.
(The usual thin style pizza is delicious as well – and it’s not my usual go-to style but came back for more of it regardless). Purchase by slice or full pie. Definitely worth the drive.

I ordered pizza from my phone on the beach at 4:10. It said it would be ready by 4:55. I immediately got a call and was told it could be ready in 15 minutes if I wanted it sooner. We drove over to pick it up and the smell of the pizza was pure heaven. We took it over to the break wall to eat it and it tasted even better than it smelled. It wasn’t greasy and the bottom was cooked to crisp perfection. It is a little pricier than other places nearby but (after eating at several of those) I will gladly pay the extra few dollars for a far superior pizza.

Pizza in maine typically stinks. This is good pizza. Ordered a fully pie and some wine for $54. Well worth it. But then I went back for an extra slice. Totally burnt and didn’t taste good. Anyway. Giving them five stars.

The margarita pizza is amazing! I always get it when I’m in town (sometimes I get it a couple times on our VK week). The people working here are super friendly and helpful. They make sure you have everything you need including plates, napkins and extra sauce.

Best pizza in Kennebunk or Kennebunkport. Might crack the 8’s on the Portnoy scale. If you’re looking for a traditional New York style crust, go to Roma. The owner and staff are incredibly kind and welcoming. If you get here before they sell out of arancini, consider yourself very lucky!

Exceptional NY style pizza! Sold both by the pie and by the slice. Family owned and operated business. Dine in, take out and outdoor seating available. Great place for kids and next to Ben & Jerry’s ice cream!
