In total honesty, this restaurant was better than a pleasant surprise with how well my experience was here. I wish I knew the name of our waitress because I can’t emphasize enough how genuinely kind and caring our waitress was. On top of that, the food was amazing. That is an understatement. The food was better than anything I’ve ever had and I would drive hours away to come back to eat at this restaurant. I could genuinely write a novel of praises for this place.

I don’t know why this place was empty at 12:30 on a Friday, but it’s an absolute crime. We just got back from NYC where we stayed and had multiple incredible meals in Koreatown. This food was close to or right on par with what we had there. The prices are fair considering what you get! You will leave satisfied and happy. The service was attentive and kind.
I had kimchi jiggae (I think they spelled it differently), which she called kimchi casserole. Very tasty, though I had lunch envy for my husband’s dolsot bibimbap. I’m sure he will post his own review.

This was such a wonderful find. Don’t be fooled by the atmosphere, it’s not fancy. Go for the incredible food. I’m half Korean so I’m picky about my Korean food and the hot pot Bibibop was delicious!

It was our first time trying Korean food and let me tell you it did not disappoint. The service was top notch and all food was prepared fresh and authentic. The lady helping us was amazing and so kind. I’ve told multiple people already and will be back soon. I recommend this place to everyone. Absolutely unbelievable that more people wasn’t there. Every seat should be filled!!

It’s been ages since we have been able to sit inside Koreana and have a good Korean dinner. They have reopened their indoor dining area after a 14 month COVID hiatus. As always Mama-San is happy. My wife got Chap-che and I got fried rice with egg on top. The kin-Chee side was marvelous too. Glad they are back!

This is one of those hole-in-the-wall spots you gotta try! We had the Jajangmyeon, Beef Champong, and the Beef Bulgogi and it was all so delicious and truly authentic. Everything is made in house from the Kimchi to the broth in the champong. Definitely coming back and bringing friends.
