Oh my gosh…this was the best Mexican food I’ve had in a long time! Even the delivery bag was high quality, which immediately stood out. They also included a sweet, personalized note. It’s this level of attention to detail and genuine effort that makes me want to completely ditch chain restaurants and support locally owned businesses like this one! This is a family owned business and I highly recommend everyone supports them. It’s very worth it and insanely delicious. I will definitely be ordering from here again.

I have ordered from here many, many times, and I have never once had a meal that was anything less than incredible. It’s authentic, and made with love. Believe the other reviews, this place is spectacular. They always leave a personal touch in the to-go packaging, and even the plasticware is high quality. Their prices have gone up a bit, but I was honestly hoping they would raise them because they truly deserve it (and I’d probably still be willing to pay $100 for the chile if I had to).

I had the food door dashed to me. The food is delicious and the personalized note topped it off, earning this place a 5 star. Side note, I had to have a different door dashed driver help me translate to let MY driver know he’s at the wrong location. I’ve never been so inspired to learn Spanish. Not only could I not communicate with my own driver or the helping driver, but I had to have google translate to me what the personalize note said. I love you all. Denver is beautiful and the people are amazing.

First time ordering and I was blown away !!!! The packaging was beautiful and sustainable for delivery! Absolutely no complains ! Loved that usually theres not enough side but the portions for the sides here are perfect ! Enchiladas Verdes delicious very cheesy and just enough kick! Agua de piña was delicious just sweet enough ! Customer service was amazing ! Left a sweet note. Will definitely be returning.

This was my time to try this place. I ordered from DoorDash and my meal arrived early. The packaging was so nice I almost didn’t think it was mine. The food was exceptional, I had the enchilada verde with poblano rice and black beans. After taking one look at the presentation I knew it was going to be good. It is obvious they put a great deal of care into what they’re doing. I look forward to trying some of the other menu items in the very near future. Keep up the great work!!!

I’ve been to a ton of different Mexican food spots, and almost all of them have been good. But, I can’t think of one Mexican food place that was really that much better than all the others until we found this place. It’s just significantly better than everywhere else I can remember eating at. Please start jarring your pico!!!! I want to put it on my eggs at home!

Cocinita Mexicana catered a birthday party for my wife & 35 guests. Their food is truly excellent and the service was outstanding. They were also very communicative and detail oriented during the planning, and punctual and professional at the event. Definitely a 5 star rating, although a bit more expensive than I originally budgeted.

Was visiting Colorado with my family and got the crave to have Mexican food, we found this little take out restaurant and decided to give it a try. Has to be one of the best decisions we’ve ever made. The food was so delicious and flavorful, it was like an explosion of flavors and the chips and salsa they have are the best I’ve ever had, they were so good I didn’t even get to take a picture of them.The flautas we ordered were the bomb and I have to say the best one I’ve ever had.The agua fresca has to be my favorite drink that I have ever drank that I’ve been given the opportunity to try. Definitely one of my favorite places to go to and definitely one of the reasons I would have to come back to Denver again. If you ever need comfort food or food when your feeling down, this is your go to place and you won’t be disappointed at all in how amazing it is!

As a seasoned, well traveled Mexican food restaurateur and Denver resident of 15 years, I’ve had my fair share of great Mexican meals—but this place completely blew the pantalones of my piernas. I ordered through Uber Eats for the first time, and wow… it might just be the best Mexican food I’ve had in the city.
From the chicken enchiladas to the barbacoa burrito, rice, beans ( best pinto beans I’ve had), tortilla chips, and guacamole—everything was flawless. Each item easily earned a 10 out of 10. Maybe the sour cream earned a 9.9 but seriously, not a single bite was mediocre.
I will most likely be dining in tomorrow. That’s how bueno it is. Apologize for not taking pictures aside from the note they left us in the bad….we took one bite and couldn’t stop. Buen Provecho!
