I order delivery from here at least once a month. I use the PapaJohns app. We love their pizza and rarely have any issue with a delivery. I love that I can order in the morning for a timed delivery later in the day. That’s so convenient! Using the app allows me to use PapaDough points, which frequently gives me $2-4 off my order.

The WORST Papa John’s experience I have ever had in my entire life.
I had to order through Doordash, as Papa John’s has been pushing this for a few years now- so that they don’t have to fully staff their stores, even though I live within 2 miles of this location. I like to think they also push it so they do not have to take accountability for poor performance.
As is customary for the North Port/Port Charlotte experience, all chain locations are DISGUSTING ghosts of what they are marketed to be. This location had provided us with a distinct lack of toppings- whether that be due to pure negligence, or a desperate attempt to penny pinch, I do not know.
Specialty pizzas were delivered with no toppings. They came in undercooked, and doughy near the crust. The breadsticks that were provided, normally the saving grace of Papa John’s (seriously this is a dying chain and there is a REASON FOR THAT), came unappetizingly dry. The packaging was as if I had pulled parchment paper out of my own kitchen drawer- have you ever seen anything like that? Normally I get, and love, garlic parmesan breadsticks dripping with garlic sauce and loaded with cheese.
NOT HERE.
Cherry on top was 7-dipping-sauces were omitted from the delivery order. “Whoops!”
I reached out to Papa John’s who were unaccommodatingly unsympathetic, as follows: “Since you ordered through DoorDash, there’s nothing we can do!” Wow, that’s convenient!
This location has taken zero pride or effort in what they do, it shows. They really have spurned me off of this chain for good.
It looks like the most recent string of reviews are all 1-star as well! For what goes back for what looks like about a year, 20 1-star reviews. If you are reading this BEFORE you order- take heed! Choose Domino’s!

It’s kind of ridiculous, that pizza places can’t pay delivery drivers enough to keep them around. The manager called and said door dash has the wrong order and we have to tell him to go back when he gets here. Mind you, I ordered straight from the store, NOT DOOR DASH! This isn’t a bash against this store, as I have not even seen the driver for the first time….. THIS IS ABOUT UPPER MANAGEMENT AND THE FRANCHISE AS A WHOLE! Absolutely ridiculous! Pay driver’s to work for you, and you might not have these issues.

Apparently their better ingredients they advertise on their boxes, stores, and commercials are so good that they can’t put them on the food for their customers, as you can see from the pics.
I’ve had a couple issues with this store as it relates to their product and order accuracy. Probably why I haven’t ordered from here in a while, but clearly things haven’t improved. I mean, what kind of greasy mess is this cheese bread?! Looks like they’ve ran out of those better ingredients. I guess I’ll have to learn my lesson for good, since this store can’t seem to improve.

We use to order pizza weekly till they stopped making them correctly and as directed. After awhile we decided to give them another chance and we ordered Pappas. Very bad experience AGAIN, no meat in the philly steak Pappas, the pepperoni and meatball Pappa had only one meatball and greasy all over both Pappas. Never again will we go here. Has been good since Zak had left this location.

I waited a week to write this to see if they would fix this, but they haven’t.
Ordered a garlic stuffed crust pizza with Alfredo, chicken, tomatoes, and jalapeños. We got a pizza with pepperoni, sausage, and jalapeños. We ate the pizza we got because it was dinner time and we couldn’t wait any longer to try and get it fixed.
Tried calling the store 5x and was immediately put on hold for 10+ min at a time with no one answering the phone. Tried calling the main customer service number and was told to call the local store.
Emailed customer service and got no response. It’s really a shame because we really liked this place, but we will likely not be back.
Mistakes happen, but terrible customer service is a choice.

These guys make pizza with bare hands and wipe the food on their clothes. I watched them for 10 min while waiting for a delivery. How you gonna wash your hands, then dry them on your clothes and then make pizzas bro? Or even the lady she would roll out the dough, then wipe her flour hands all over her jeans and continue making pizzas… Just a general PSA I deff wouldn’t order from this place

I haven’t dealt with the service or been there in person. I get delivery. We order every week, but are not going to for a long time if ever again. We order multiple topping pizzas and get little to no toppings everytime. In my photo, I paid extra for the pineapple and I’m lucky if there is a single piece of ham and pineapple on every slice.

I order from here every now and then when I don’t feel like cooking. My pizza is always hot and done correctly, my daughter loves it. I’ve gotten a pizza from here 100 times. Never had an issue. The ONE time they messed up, I called them and they gave me refund without even hesitating. One time I even ordered my pick up from the wrong store and they made my pizza a high priority and got me my food quick! (Even on my own mistake) I love their food and I’m pretty picky. Sucks only the crazy’s leave reviews because I know they do a good job.
