To start this is a hole in the road place off a back highway stretched around the River. Its beautiful! The staff upon entering were as friendly and welcoming as can be. Even the servers passing by were friendly and smiling. They had some live music, nice drink specials, and the food was the same as the service…. which is phenomenal. Alot of great choices, we did a flat bread wood fire grilled chicken and I got the catfish and homemade hush puppies! Yall have got to try it at least once, itll be your new go to place!

Was not expecting a place like this in the area. We’d just finished the cave tour and went left instead of right onto highway. The food is great and bread is delicious. The appetizer really hit the spot. Decor was very nice and clean bathrooms.

Looks can be deceiving, from the outside it is very unimpressive and you think oh well I will try this. The inside is decorated nicely, but not pretentious, and deceptively spacious the summertime views there will be amazing. The deck has a direct view of the river. I can’t wait to return and sit outside when it’s warmer. The food was fabulous. We started with the hush puppies and they were very crunchy on the outside but moist and flavorful on the inside. My wife ordered the chicken piccata and they allowed her to substitute the pasta instead of the potatoes (pro move) she said it was delicious . I ordered the shrimp and grits with two sunny side up eggs. The perfectly cooked eggs were the first thing that I noticed , the grits were true, slow cooked cream based grits, the way of southern restaurant should make grits. They had kielbasa and bacon as well as the shrimp. I eat shrimp and grits often when I go out, this may be one of the best I’ve ever had if not the best.

What a phenomenal find on our visit to the Chattanooga area! Beautiful restaurant with amazing views of the mountains and the Tennessee River. Top that off with amazing food amd the friendliest staff and this one is a winner! We started out with the frog legs and the charcuterie board and while the frog legs were good, the charcuterie board was INCREDIBLE. Unfortunately I didn’t take a picture until we had dived in, but trust me – it was beautifully presented. For dinner we split one of the specials (Hickory Grilled Tenderlpin medallions with mashed potatoes and a cremini mushroom sauce). I forgot to take a picture but it was cooked to perfection. And the fried okra was delightful and well seasoned with just the right amount of pepper. And it was whole fresh okra on a gorgeously crispy and light batter which is far superior to the standard cornmeal batter (my southern mom would be shocked). The chef came out to say hi and was incredibly friendly and gracious. Southern hospitality, gorgeous scenery, and amazing food. What more could you ask for? We will definitely be back next time we are in town!

Beautiful location and great food. View of the river is great. It was cold out so we sat next to a big window, but plan to come back during warmer months to sit on their large deck. Ample parking out front and to the side of the building. Highly recommend!

Probably the best food we’ve ever had. Every thing was so amazing. We were on vacation from Maryland and came for dinner. Let me tell you we were not disappointed. So much so we came back for a second night. Seriously make the trip. You won’t be disappointed

The food and service was great. We tried different entrees: piccata, salmon and catfish. The location and atmosphere were also great. A peaceful relaxing dinner with family.

My daughter and I tried this place after having discovered it through a work party for the holidays. We were happy to get there from Chattanooga in under an hour on a busy Friday night. We were sat right away with a lovely view of the river. We ordered drinks and the cauliflower appetizer. It was fabulous. Our server kelsee was quick to refill our waters and so attentive. We each ordered different things. She had the Ribeye steak over garlic mash potatoes and i had the pasta. The portions are HUGE and you will not leave hungry. The desserts are also huge so you might want to split it. The prices are comparable to the quality. Much better than Ruth Chris or J Alexander. And while the drive should only take 20 minutes plan for some traffic and remember the restaurant is on Central Time. The Chef Lee is great and personally makes sure the meal is to your liking. I have allergies and he was very respectful about it. The linen table cloth and white glove service is so top notch I find myself running out of words. I can say I will be back. And I am already looking forward to it.
