This Indian-Nepali restaurant exceeded all my expectations. The flavors are authentic and packed with delicious spices. Their chowmein and fried rice are hands down some of the best I’ve ever had—perfectly cooked, flavorful, and satisfying. The portion sizes are generous, and everything tastes fresh. Whether you’re craving something spicy, savory, or comforting, this place delivers every time. Definitely a five-star spot—highly recommend to anyone who loves great food!

I recently visited this place and had an outstanding experience! Their food is exceptionally delicious, especially the chicken and vegetable MOMO which are one of THE BEST in LA. The vegetable chowmein and garlic naan were also fantastic. They have lots of vegetarian options too! The staff were incredibly friendly, making the overall atmosphere very welcoming. Prices are quite reasonable, offering great value for the quality. While they primarily focus on takeout orders, they do have parking available if you prefer to dine in. Highly recommend checking them out!

The food was just ok but the bigger problems are that:
1) They charged us $15 for two orders but on their menu, neither item was $15. One was $13, the other was maybe $13-14 but definitely not $15.
2) When we sat down, they gave us two bottles of water without asking but those also appeared on the bill, $1/each.
I should have said something on principle but I just didn’t feel like getting into it over a few bucks but either their staff is badly trained or worse: they were deliberately trying to get over on us as customers by over-charging.
Never coming back here and I don’t recommend others do either

I don’t usually write reviews, but this restaurant truly deserves one — and not in a good way. The food was absolutely terrible. Everything tasted stale, oily, and completely lacking flavor. The curry looked like it had been sitting out for hours, and the rice was hard and clumpy. Even the naan was dry and chewy, which says a lot.
The service didn’t help either — the staff seemed uninterested and rushed, and our order took forever to arrive even though the restaurant wasn’t busy. When we politely mentioned the food was cold, they just reheated it and sent it back without an apology.
I’ve eaten at many Indian restaurants, and this was by far the worst experience. Save your money and your stomach — there are plenty of better places around.

ONLY MESS
The biryani at House of Curry was amazing, and the curry absolutely outdid itself. You can tell they really know their curry. We also ordered some naan,everything was great, plus excellent service.

If the food is taking a bit of a while to be made, you can trust it is of quality and it is authentic.
The restaurant owner serving me was so gentle in his service. I ordered online for pick up. It only took 5 extra minutes for me to get the food. Since I part of my order was for sharing with friends, I wanted to taste the biryani if it was worthy to be given to friends or family. Ha! Any way, I immediately went back in to order an additional plate of Lamb Biryani and Lamb Saag.
I respect places with great customer service as well; in fact, that is most important. I came in at a good time after lunch hours. However, Maybe I’m biased at times with foreigners, but I felt really catered to and the man listened & was patient.
Truthfully, given the flavor and quality of food, along with the customer service, I highly recommend it as *worth the wait* if you ever encounter it at a busy time. But to be safe, if you’re the “I want my food and I want it now” person, please order online 30-45mins in advance and write notes in your order!
Everything was fire. Lamb Biryani is a personal favorite and friend’s’ favorite.

I highly recommend this cute little restaurant! The chicken Tikka masala is absolutely amazing. There’s something about that sauce that’s just so good! The service was excellent, and the person who took my order was extremely kind and helpful. Trust me, I’ve paid twice as much for the same dish before and received a smaller portion that wasn’t even half as good as this one. I’m already looking forward to my next visit and can’t wait to try something new!
