Social Profile:

PHỞ F&M is a small family-run Vietnamese restaurant dedicated to traditional Hanoi-style Phở. Our broth is made fresh daily by slow-simmering beef bones and spices for hours, without industrial seasonings. We believe good food should be simple, nourishing, and made with care — served hot for dine-in or thoughtfully packed for takeout.

Pho F& – always delicious!! Fresh and so very tasty. We come here at least twice a month! The family are always so warm and welcoming. Cosy atmosphere and beautiful flowers always.

The food is made with great care, and it’s healthy to boot!
Warning: Pho F&M can be mildly addictive!!! Cannot recommend enough.

Hands down, best Vietnamese restaurant in St. John’s. I eat here regularly. Hand prepared, fresh food. My favourite dishes are the pho with Rare Eye Round and the fresh spring rolls (incredible peanut sauce!). Excellent service, lovely family.

Absolutely amazing Vietnamese food! Every dish was so tasty, flavorful, and truly delicious—you can really tell it’s made with care and authentic flavors. Portions were great and everything came out fresh and comforting. The grilled chicken with vermicelli is a must try it taste so good. What made the experience even better was the owner, who is incredibly friendly, accommodating, and welcoming. They made us feel right at home and were happy to help with recommendations.
Highly recommended if you’re craving great Vietnamese food and genuine hospitality. Will definitely be back!

Best Pho in St. John’s!! Dining in is the best experience because the restaurant has such a lovely atmosphere and the kindest people who run it. The food was phenomenal. It’s my new favorite spot in town♡

Highly recommend the house specials! It packs a lot of flavor, and also their drinks are super refreshing. Everything is very fresh and delicious.

I’m saddened to have to leave this review, but where I rely on public reviews to make spending choices on food, I feel responsible for letting customers know what they’re paying for.

A friend had recommended the restaurant so my friend and I paid it a visit.
I ordered spicy egg noodles in a spicy broth, and my friend ordered a regular pho with beef.
We were apprehensive about spending $23/$24 plus tax for a single bowl of soupy noodles (which usually costs some $15 or $17-ish), but we figured that we were paying for authentic, or at the very least, restaurant made noodles or hand prepared ingredients.

The second I took a bite of my spicy noodles, I realized that it was store bought Shin noodles put together with some meat. I felt very deceived because if I wanted to eat instant noodles, I could have just bought a packet from Walmart for $2 and made it myself at home. The price charged for the dish was unreasonably high! At least the restaurant could have advertised the dish as instant noodles put together for a dine-in setting.
My friend had also seen the chef opening a pack of the instant noodles in the kitchen, so we were very put off by our dining experience. We understand expenses are high, especially for specialty food in St. John’s, but this was misleading on their behalf. My friend’s regular Pho was, at least to me, was indistinguishable in flavour from the instant Pho bowls that sell at Costco. Whether it was from there or not, I don’t know, but it was hard to say!

$54, with tax, for two bowls of soupy noodles is as astonishing price to pay, and while I wish the restaurant well, I hope they assess their prices and advertising to be fair and transparent to their customers.
Rest assured, I am never visiting this restaurant again.

A very nice Pho restaurant with authentic flavors and dishes. The place is a good size and the husband and wife team is great. Since we are visitors, they treated us with kindness and some good fried chicken. Overall, definitely a place to re-visit next time we are in St. johns Newfoundland.
