First time stopping and let me start by saying walking in at quarter to 6pm (when they close) the girl working the counter was so nice and more than happy to make my order to go. She didn’t rush the process and while cooking held great conversation, very personable. The smell was absolutely amazing, it made the drive home almost unbearable. Each bite was like a missed memory of home cooked goodness! Definitely will be back!!

I should have given 5 stars on atmosphere, but a delivery of a large kitchen appliance arrived through the front door. (No back parking lot to bring it through a back door?) We ordered 2 of the Polish Connection Platter- 1 with fresh kielbasa & 1 with smoked. ( I had the smoked kielbasa & it was delicious.) Platters also held 1 large galumpki, (lots of meat in it, & not mushy); 2 pierogis of our choice, (I got sauerkraut and 1 of potato & cheese- both very good, with a tender dough.); and Halushki. Waitress was very nice and explained that as it was the very end of the day, (they close at 3), she was helping in the kitchen, too, as someone needed to be someplace, but that she would check in with us often- which she did do, refilling our coffee cups several times. We also ordered a side of potato pancakes, (3 for $5), and they were surprisingly much bigger than we anticipated. And delicious! (We split one and took the other 2 home.) I attend physical therapy at John Heinz and all the therapists were eager to hear my review of Polish Connection, as I had mention that I was headed there after my session that day. Gave rave reviews at my next PT session. Only complaint was the Halushki had a few dried noodles, but, reasonably, it was the very end of the day and our waitress was also working in the kitchen. I mentioned to her that if she’s in that position, again, that she needs to gently stir the Halushki occasionally to prevent that.

Absolutely perfect- in every way! Great service- great menu- great food!
Authentic hand made Polish food in a blue collar eatery.
Every possible flavor of Pierogi plus all the traditional stuffings. Everything tastes just like your Babcia or Babunia used to make.
If you are in The Wilkes Barre area on the weekends- you have to stop!

They were super nice here and I would definitely recommend coming here during the kielbasa festival!

1st timer at the Polish Connection for takeout. We had phoned in the order early in the day, and it was ready for us when we arrived.
Pastie was $10 and big enough for 2 people. Full of meat and potatoes.
The combo platter was $10 and included a piggy, small piece of kielbasa, 2 potatoes cheese, and haluski
Potatoe pancakes $1 each where large!

My Polish girlfriend took me here while visiting her family. The perogies were fantastic and the “made in house” kielbasa was amazing (I had fresh and smoked). The service was great and the prices are fantastic. We took another batch back with us.

If your someone who is Polish or just enjoys good homemade Polish cooking then this is the place to go to. I got their polish platter that had all homemade kielbasa, halushki, pierogi, stuffed cabbage, and their giant potato pancakes. I left with a to go container stuffed. Recommend.

If their regular store is as friendly and personable as their stand at the Kielbasa fest, DO NOT GO THERE! Horrible attitude, the “cook” couldn’t be bothered to actually do his job and make food. His attitude when running out of food was “Oh Well.” Also, the food is mediocre at best. Save your time and money and go anywhere else.
