I had found out about this place from a friend that grew up in the area and we stopped in to grab a bite and I had to try the Mac Attack which I thought was great, used to be a gas station also I believe so one side still has items of convenience and the other is the restaurant. Food and service was good, Nice little out of the way stop.

One of the only places to grab a bite in this small, quaint town. The food was ok, very simple dive restaurant, but a lot to choose from on the menu. Our waitress was awesome, but the atmosphere was political and tacky and the attached convenience store was selling food that was wayyyy past the expiration date. I would drive to the next town over and skip this one next time.

Great, hearty, homemade food at a fair price. I have ate at Mike’s Place countless times and explored the menu. Everything that I have ever ordered has been a hearty portion and great tasting! I have never had a bad experience there. Always good service and a good, family atmosphere. Very clean and tidy establishment with spotless dishes and silverware. I will definitely be back soon!
P.S. you have to try the homemade coconut cream pie!
