This location used to be pretty reliable for decent takeout pizza. Lately though, the pizzas are kind of a mess… lower quality ingredients thrown about unevenly. Not great… which is unfortunate because this was a weekend mainstay for us.
Edit: we tried it again a year later. Still mess. Toppings unevenly cut and thrown across the pizza. Some parts had significantly more cheese than others. Whoever put together focused on just literally throwing toppings all over it.
I would say they need to slow down but as it was, the pizza arrived 25 minutes late and cold.

Do people only do take-out these days? We were the only ones dining in!
Note: we asked for a 1/2 pitcher of beer then told they don’t sell half pitchers. This is the only place we’ve run into who offers beer only in 16oz glass or full pitcher. $29 for a full pitcher…..

I’ve stopped here a few times for lunch. Great lunch spot. Peaceful and can watch tv while I enjoy my pizza. Great service too. The pizza quality is consistent. I know what I’m going to get and they deliver. On this day I had a nice warm pizza on a cold rainy day.

I don’t understand why every single time I order a side they forget the included sauce no matter what. Whether it’s ranch for the wings or the creme anglaise for the the churros, I shouldn’t have to double check every minor item every single time that is ridiculous.

I’m updating my review to give this place 5 stars — and I rarely give 5 stars to a pizza place. After trying a few other spots for comparison, I realized I was wrong about this one.
1. The bread is thin, light, and perfectly baked, so there’s no waste — you can enjoy it down to the last bite.
2. The toppings are high quality and generously portioned. Unlike other places that serve a “bald pizza” with scattered toppings and too much cheese, here you actually get substance.
3. The flavor is outstanding — satisfying and truly delicious.
4. The freshness of the ingredients is clear in both taste and texture.
My only small notes: a slight reduction in salt, prices are on the higher side — but I can’t blame them, because the quality truly shows. Overall this is a top-tier pizza place.

Last nite, stopped by to grab a quick bite. I had a chance to try their dinner buffet and salad bar. Everybody was nice and was attentive.Soda dispenser was low and when we asked for them to replace it, they did it immediately.
This was my first time trying Mountain Mikes. I have seen some of their commercials on TV and their pepperoni pizza looks just like what I saw on TV. Their salad bar was clean and appetizing. My favorite salad item was hard boiled eggs and macaroni salad.
I asked the cashier in the front for a take out menu and was told that they have 50% off Tuesdays, all day. Will definitely come back and try some of my favorite pizzas.

I ordered their cheese bread and Garlic Chicken Club pizza. My food arrived early and exactly as ordered. Needless to say there were no complaints about and as there was nothing left over.

Late review! Wanted to post earlier. Couple of months back we celebrated my niece’s birthday party in the San Ramon location and ordered few different pizzas and other food items for the party. All toppings were appropriately spread out for a perfect flavor. I really liked how the staff greeted and provided excellent customer service. Through out the party, staff made sure to serve the fresh pizzas and take care of the whole event. Everyone in the party along with kids enjoyed their food. Since then, I have been their regular customer and love their pizzas. I would highly recommend this Mountain Mike’s location in San Ramon to anyone who are pizza lovers and want to enjoy every bit of it.
