We absolutely love it here! “Wanna go on a date to Slopington?” has quickly become my favorite question, as that’s what we call this now. We have tried several different flavors, across four or five different trips, and today I ordered a blue raspberry iceberg with sprinkles. “I’ve never actually had someone order it like that, but man that sounds so good!” Thank you, pal. It was exceptional! So far, I have yet to find something that ISN’T a contender for my favorite sweet treat from Slope.
Service is fast, and every single staff member we’ve interacted with has been so friendly. We’ve met Jordan, who gave us a bit of the backstory on the name and was excited to start this spot. Baker’s Rhapsody and Slope combined, Dowagiac has a little ray of sunshine on the block!

Located in the former Twistee’s building in Downtown Dowagiac, Slope Frozen Treats marries the best of The Baker’s Rhapsody, the bakery just down the street run by the same team, with delicious ice cream. At their soft opening today, I had a Strawberry Shortcake Sled (sundae) made up of absolutely delicious vanilla cake along with fresh strawberries. This is a fabulous and unique new addition to town!

I like taking my grandson here. the workers are all really friendly and the ice cream is good. I stick with my old reliable sundae or vanilla cone, but my grandson likes trying all the different flavors and concoctions they’ve got over there.

The banana cream vortex with Reese’s added in was amazing but the star of the night was Caleb, the young man who took our order. He was so pleasant and patient and really made a difference. Everyone else was nice, too, but we interacted with Caleb the most. Will be back!

$7.25 for soft serve with a SMALL amount of toppings that they couldn’t be bothered to mix further than 1/4 down. There was no hidden mix ins on the bottom and the little on the top were no where near enough. I really wanted to like this place but they are batting 0/2

Thank you for bringing our ice cream shop back to life. Service was amazing and i absolutely love your bowls. Eco friendly and cute! My husband and son both got a “sled” and it was so much neither could finish. For the price, you definitely get what you’re paying for!
