Nice local place, fun name, good tea and scones. Sometimes a little loud but friendly employees. Cute shirts, mugs… wish they said Fort Atkinson on them so I could support them and the advertise where they are.

Nice little coffee shop with plenty of outdoor, porch, and inside seating space (with a Beauty Salon in the back). Good coffee and muffins are spectacular! I was alone and felt very comfortable sitting solo amongst locals :).

My son and I have been walking here once a year every summer for the past 7 years. (Except during covid, of course)
We’ve been watching this cafe grow and change every year, and they never disappoint my son. They always have an up to date menu of delicious muffins, breads, and cookies, and a clean, efficient team to keep the store running seamlessly.
My son likes to say, “This is a cafe that I need to go to every time I’m in Wisconsin.”
This year, it looks like they have a new generation of high school students still learning how to great and interact with guests. Though nervous and spending most of their time in the back, except to take orders and clean-up, I’m hoping they will grow to meet the high standard of service we’ve grown accustomed to these past years

Cute quaint little local coffee shop! The drinks are great and reasonably priced, which makes this local choice much better than any chain out there. The bakery and breakfast items are also delicious which is a bonus! Only negative is the slow service when they are busy just due to a small staff, but it really is worth the wait!

Absolute favorite little coffee shop on the planet. I’ve tried several treats and snacks, everything is always amazing. The homemade food and the catered in food. All great. Their chai tea is unbeatable in comparison to anywhere I’ve gone in town and in Madison. Very charming atmosphere, you are cozy and welcomed. MUST visit if you haven’t. Obsessed haha!!

What initially caught my eye was their prices. They are totally normal and affordable, something rare these days. I appreciate a place not price gouging the soda.
I had the nutty chicken on a croissant which was perfect. The mayo to chicken ratio was spot on.

Beauty & the Bean is a great little coffee shop. Collectivo coffee/espresso drinks are really good. There is a variety of baked goods as well as sandwiches and salads. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The spiced apple cider is delicious – highly recommend! Cozy atmosphere and friendly smiles.
