I went back the next day I was a little nervous to come because some of the reviews but my friend from Baltimore told me she been coming there for a while. Don’t listen to the negative reviews like I was going to do try it for yourself. This is the best Chinese restaurant I had in Virginia and I am very picky when it comes to my food I am big on flavor. And picky two year old nephew loved the fried rice he asked for three plates of it and he never asked for three plates of anything. So I gave it a chance yesterday I was worried because the fried rice was yellow and not brown but the flavor was good the Singapore noodles was delicious and the vegetables with tofu was good. Great portions and they fill the food to the brim. I got three items with great portions size for $38. Then I went back today for Ma Po tofu I haven’t tried it yet , mushrooms with gravy I asked for added broccoli and I did my order online and he called and made sure what I wanted for my order and gave it to me. And I read comments that they didn’t want to give her broccoli and charge her a dollar for each piece of broccoli and I didn’t have that problem great portion size. I got lo mein noodles it’s not in the square plastic container like the other main dishes but still a good size I haven’t taste it but it looks good I got fried rice on the side which was a good size for $2.00 extra. Then I got my nephew fried chicken wings and fries. The fries were bland I don’t know how the chicken taste because I am a vegan. The only review that I read that is true is when you ask for spicy food they don’t add spice at all but I have my own spices. So the chicken wings with fries, fried rice, Ma Po tofu, lo mein noodles and the mushroom with garlic sauce cost me $53 5 items so like $10 for each item basically

I’ve always enjoyed this take out. Their food has always been good. I have noticed price hikes, but alas where hasn’t. The food 90% of the time is very good and plentiful. It isn’t greasy like other Chinese restaurants.

I got the beef and broccoli…the broccoli and rice were good. The beef was just fat. Literally every piece was fatty. I ended up just throwing it away. Maybe the good reviews are for something else…

Best Chinese food in Newport News and the girl is really nice she is literally running back and forth and answering several phones at the same time and everyone there is really nice. They give very large portions as well, I dont even know how they fit all that in the containers.

The food was decent, but not great. Very little flavor to the egg drop soup- it seemed a bit watered down. The General pho’s chicken had good flavor, but the chicken had too much fried batter- it was very crunchy. The service was friendly and quick and the prices were reasonable.

My first time at this Chinese restaurant. Surprised I hadnt tried it before as it’s so close to me. I had several questions about the menu and they also have an instore menu with 10 options of 3 entrees in one (kinda like a sampler) that’s not featured in their paper menu. The gentleman I spoke to was very nice and helpful and didn’t seem to get impatient with me.

I have looked a long time for really good Chinese food. And this used to be the place I loved. Whenever I do orders with them I do big orders. Now today I try to put in another order in and I have one request which is for our combination dinner to have broccoli instead of Rice. At this time my daughter can’t eat rice of any kind. They wouldn’t substitute but they want to charge me $1 for each piece of broccoli. This is ridiculous to me that after all these years and I usually do about $100 when I order that they can’t substitute the rice for a couple of pieces of broccoli. Clearly they don’t care about their loyal customers so we will take our money elsewhere. It really ashame and disappointing. Good to know now before I use them to cater my grandson party and would have spent hundreds of dollars on food. There are more Chinese restaurants elsewhere that will appreciate our business. As hard as well work for our money we thought we were they appreciated our business but I guess not.
