Great $3 Street Tacos in SW/Central Beaverton – I think it’s the quality, home made corn tortillas that make the difference. The tacos here remind me exactly of the tacos that we get in Mexico. They are so authentic and so delicious. This location is easy to miss.
The salsa was perfectly flavorful without being too spicy, the red salsa. The tacos are three dollars each and they have a pretty good menu.
I’m interested in trying their other dishes. I bet the caldos are very good with fresh tortillas on a Sunday morning.
We also noticed that they have their own stage and sound system, so I’m guessing they host bands on the weekend. It’s pretty nice set up. It’s a lot bigger than it looks from the outside.
Update – 5/30 10:45 am- I went back and got the tacos again, with Carne Asada. The meat tasted weird this time so next time I’ll try a different meat.

I go every weekend to eat the Menudo, it comes with handmade tortillas. The rest of the menu is spot on I haven’t tried anything I haven’t liked. Feels like home! Staff is friendly, lots of locals.

You like authentic? You will find it here! I’ve been here several times (business, with my son—who convinced me to try beef tongue, surprisingly good—and take-out orders from business meetings to parties). All very good experiences, the food is very reasonably priced and delicious, the eating area is clean, the bathroom is not great (the reason atmosphere category only gets 3 stars on this review).
Tip: If you use for catering, you may want to have an interpreter on hand. If that is not an option, they will offer to call you back or give you a good time to call back). ENJOY!

Al Cricket
I stumbled across this place and tried their fish tacos. They’re unlike a fish taco at any other place I’ve been to, and you can judge a place with a difference like that. I since have tried other things, with beans and rice, and it’s all been great.
I read another review stating there are enough reviews of this place that it can’t be kept secret anymore.. I concur. It’s worth the drive even if you’re several miles away. I’d visit if it was a twenty minute (or more) drive, easily.

We’ve been going to this place for years & they never disappoint. Fresh hand made tortillas make all the difference. The tacos are bigger than the street tacos you get down the street from the trucks. & they do not skimp on the meat. Super delicious, I’ll recommend to any friend or family.

Delicious, Rustic and Authentic. Stopped in here for lunch and we were one of maybe 8 people in the place. Being the first time wasn’t sure what to expect. It is like a food cart with an indoor eating area. Ordered the Enchiladas filled with Carnitas. Very delicious! So was the rice and beans. I’d eat here again for lunch or for a quick bite. Its not a typical sit down Mexican restaurant with chips and salsa. But the food is way better..

The food is great! Fresh, with home made tortillas. Today we went to have dinner for mothers day with 2 other families . We had a great time. One thing they can improve is the smell of sewer it was really strong in the restrooms and very light in the dinning are.
