The grandma slice was probably the best darn grandma slice I’ve ever had. *chef’s kiss* The only thing I wish they did was suggest I order two slices. It was like having no expectations for a movie, like the matrix when it first came out and then coming out of theater realizing how amazing it really was. Cheese was melty, sauce was perfect , had garlic in it too. Crust was thin and crisp -not hard.
P.S. – I wasn’t even hungry when I went in.

This is my go-to place whenever I want pizza in the area. The grandma and Sicilian slices are amazing – the grandma is super thin and crispy, and garlicky in the best possible way (and I normally don’t like garlic), the Sicilian is thicker but still with a nice, crispy bottom and a solid amount of cheese on top, and the tomato sauce they use on both is nice and tangy as it should be. It’s a no-frill, family-run place but the pizzas are very very solid, prices are reasonable and the owner and staff are always extremely welcoming.

Initially, we visited this place to use the restroom, but we ended up grabbing a couple of drinks. The staff was incredibly friendly and the atmosphere was pleasant, so we decided to order a pizza. To our surprise, the guy gave us a small slice for free. The pizza was delicious, and we’ll definitely be back!

Rocky? I think it was, was so nice. This nice old man looked like he was working hard out of passion. I ordered two slices and a can. It was $8 dollars. I said “keep the change”
He was so happy he made me an espresso it was so sweet.
It’s also not even five minutes from the park by the water under the throgs neck with nice views so it’s in a nice location as well.

Food is great,service is awesome. The owner is extremely personable , gotta say you get treated like a regular after like your second visit. The atmosphere is very family oriented. I highly recommend.

Local pizzeria with a good kitchen in the back. My favorites, shrimp and calamari marin̈are, or chops pizzaola, both can be had with a side of spinach,or broccoli. Escarole is a slight upcharge.. I never had a bad meal there.

My go-to spot for pizza whenever I’m in the area. A small pizza shop run by the friendliest people. They also have a dine-in area if you’re in the mood for some Italian classics. The pizza is fresh, hot and crispy and never disappoints. I came in and ordered a whole pie to go and the pie took no more than 10 minutes. Great crunch on the crust, flavorful sauce and melty cheese. Plenty of parking around too, a win-win!
